This is a lovely, clean, well maintained home. The kitchen was very well equipped. We appreciated the paved pathway down to the lake with a railing. Our teens enjoyed the game room and paddleboards!

Our stay at “Serenity by the Lake” was amazing from start to finish! There are so many spaces for everyone and so many activities for all to do. The host was attentive and messaged me throughout our stay to ensure all our needs were being met. The home was clean, charming, and welcoming. The beds so comfortable- sheets, pillows, and bath towels all high quality. The host thought of all amenities we could have needed. The kitchen is well equipped and we had ample space to prepare and enjoy meals with our family of 8. We loved spending our days in and by the lake - such fun on the kayaks and paddle boards. The double deck had more than enough seating for reading, lounging, tanning, and relaxing. The spot in this cove is great! We liked having it off the main part of the lake which was more quiet and private and still got to enjoy jumping off the dock since the water was pretty deep. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and the hot tub was super clean and a perfect spot to look out over the property and the lake. The kids had fun on the XBox provided and such a variety of board games that would keep us busy for days if we wanted. This was our first time at Smith Mountain Lake and loved it so much that we would love to return to “Serenity by the Lake!”

The lake view was amazing. The property has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and spread out for larger groups. The kitchen was well stocked and a functional cooking kitchen. Would definitely stay again.
