Welcome to Slow Your Roll, previously known as The Corsair. With new owners and fresh Spring 2025 updates, this PET-FRIENDLY, five-bedroom, 4.5-bath Maritime Forest retreat invites you to unplug, relax, and truly Slow Your Roll.
Your stay begins on a classic Southern-style porch—rocking chair included. Let the soothing sounds of birdsong set the tone for your getaway. Then step inside the airy, open-concept living space where vaulted ceilings, warm hardwoods, and big, beautiful windows extend your light-filled welcome.
Whether you're whipping up full meals or just grazing on beach-day snacks, you'll love the fully equipped kitchen, outfitted with gleaming granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry. It also boasts a large island with seating for four that's ideal for breakfast and casual bites.
Nearby, the handsome dining area comfortably accommodates eight and delights with serene views of Mother Nature. Its sliding doors open to let in gentle coastal breezes and provide access to the generous screened porch, just the place for a sunset cocktail or to spot an occasional deer.
Down a quiet hallway, this level also houses two pampering suites. The first is a cozy, peaceful Queen with its own full bath with a tub/shower. The other is the spacious, sunshine-filled Primary King suite with a California closet and spa-like full bath with a tiled walk-in shower. The main floor also offers a powder room for guests and a dedicated laundry.
Upstairs, a bright, balconied hall overlooks the living area. Its shelves are stocked with local guides, children's books, and puzzles—perfect for quiet moments between beach outings or rainy-day fun. Beyond is a cheery Twin bedroom-great for kids. It shares the convenient hall full bath with the next-door bunk room. This fun space includes four built-in bunks, playful ship's lights, and hatch-style windows. Bean bag seating adds a laid-back hangout vibe, making it an easy flop zone for the younger crew. Across the balcony, the second Primary suite, a Queen, provides a spacious closet, full ensuite bath, and direct access to its own sunny deck—ideal for morning stretches or a quiet read in the afternoon light.
Centrally located within walking distance to the Market and charming local shops and just minutes to the beach, this property includes the use of: a six-passenger and a four-passenger golf cart, a gas grill, an outdoor shower, high-speed internet and access to WWP's 24/7 Property Manager Assistance Line-which means you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends.
Plus, Furry friends welcome! Bring your pup along for the adventure—just note the required, non-refundable $300 pet fee per dog.

This is the best house we've stayed at on BHI! The whole family loved it and the location on the island was perfect. It was especially sweet because we could bring our 4 legged family member! The golf carts were very nice, the house furnishings were perfect - not too fussy but not shabby - and the layout of the house was perfect for our family. We loved the screened in porch and all of the amenities that were provided throughout the house.

We loved this house. We especially loved the master bedroom on the main floor. The house was well equipped with everything needed for a BHI vacation. We will continue to rent with WWP for all future visits.

Large home, great location. Furnishings in need of some updating/cleaning. Beds (mattresses) definitely in need of upgrades!!!!! Golf carts were awesome! Nice, quiet location tucked in the forest!

Pro's: Location was great. Less than half a mile to the beach and market. Loved the central location. Lots of room. Very dog friendly! We loved all the little extra touches, like the dog seatbelts in the golf cart and the bowls/ dog beds. Decor was really classy. Loves the added touch of the coffee mugs and maps/ to do flyers.
Cons: The house was great for the most part. There were a few things that could have been better. There was mold in the master bathroom shower. The master bath sink stopper didn't work and constantly stayed closed/ couldn't open it. The outdoor shower was gross, but we're on an island, and it's outside, so that's somewhat expected. One cart wouldn't hold a charge, but that was quickly fixed. The upstairs bunk room was incredibly hot. Pans to cook with were horrible, but again, to be expected with a rental.
We were only there for a week, so we only contacted management for real problems, like the golf cart. We didn't want to spend our time in the house waiting for people to come fix things. All in all, great house. We'd rent again.
