About this villa rental
Luxurious, dream beach getaway on stunning Kiawah Island! Oceanfront Mariners Watch 3 bedroom villa w/ direct beach access (#4202). Gorgeous, and completely renovated (2019) three bedroom villa is one of the cypress and cedar-shingled Mariner’s Watch Villas reminiscent of turn-of-the-century seaside cottages. Offering the closest villa location to the beach and ocean and featuring a private staircase leading from the rear deck directly onto the boardwalk.
This first floor oceanfront villa features a spacious, open floor plan with breathtaking ocean views from the kitchen, living area, and the master suite. The natural light-filled Great Room showcases white, beamed ceilings, sprawling ocean views, beachy décor, and access to the rear deck through a series of wall-to-wall glass doors. The deck features new furnishings!
The fully appointed, sizable kitchen features everything a chef would need; glass-top range, freestanding icemaker, built-in oven and microwave, ample counter space and a breakfast bar perfect for grabbing a bite before heading out to the water. There is a traditional coffee maker as well as a Keurig. Best of all, the kitchen is open to the Great Room, so the chef won't ever miss a part of the fun or conversation.
The master suite features a king bed, large closets, and attached bath with dual-sink vanity and privacy room for the walk-in shower and toilet. The second guest room boasts two bunk bed sets and attached bath. The third guest room has a queen bed with attached bath.
Not pictured is a utility room housing a new, High Efficiency, front loading, full-sized washer & dryer.
A tank-less water heating system (Rinnai) provides continuous hot water throughout the villa; regardless the number of users.
The home features free WiFi network access and cable TVs are located in the living area and all three bedrooms.
There is no grill available, nor is one allowed, due to Kiawah Island safety regulations imposed upon villas.

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

We have stayed here twice before. Great kitchen and living space. Love the bunk beds in one bedroom for friends of our kids. Wonderfully large kitchen table for puzzles. Love the view and proximity to beach. It’s bright and airy and beachy.

We loved our getaway to kiawah island. They gave us all the info we needed to get into the place with no problem. The actually place is beautiful with everything you need. You can see the beach from the living room. Beautiful place. We loved it!

This was our second year in a row renting a unit at Mariner’s Watch (different units, but both rentals were through ESPM). We love Mariner’s Watch and plan to go back. It’s hard to beat the tranquility and proximity to the beach that is offered by that particular development. Overall our stay this year was great; however, the unit was not clean. There were remnants of food trailing down the cabinets under the sink (and along several cabinets within the kitchen); remnants of dried up food and drink on one of the bunk beds located in one of the bedrooms; dirty utensils and glasses in the drawers; the potholder looked like someone backed a pizza on top of it; and the remains of dead roaches located inside the under-cabinet ice maker. Also the ice maker and fridge filters need to be changed. Not at all what you would expect when renting a place; especially considering the money (five figures) spent to rent one of these units for a week. We were grossed out and disappointed to say the least; however we took it upon ourselves to clean all of these items (filters still need to be changed) and move one with our vacation. Contrast this with the other Mariner’s Watch unit we rented in 2021 and it’s night and day. That unit was extremely clean. Management needs to do a better job ensuring their units are cleaned and maintained properly. Again, the location and views are excellent (only reason we can recommend); however we would’ve enjoyed this unit and our trip better had the unit been cleaned properly. We’re on the fence on whether we’ll rent from ESPM going forward.
