About this house rental
Stunning Sea Lavender Court home (featured in Southern Living Magazine) offers the unique opportunity to rent new construction in an established community just across the street from the beach. This shingle-style cottage claims prime placement in the Oceanwoods neighborhood. Directly across from the street from Kiawah’s 10-mile beach, it is enveloped in the sounds of the surf, carried along on the direct southerly breezes.
• A canopied landscape of magnificent live oaks surrounds the property and a leisure trail from the back lawn leads to direct beach access.
• Maximal enjoyment of the temperate Island climate will come courtesy of a pool and deck off the main living floor, and the home’s ideal location is just a brief stroll to Night Heron Park and The Nature Center.
• Home partners Lowcountry charm with state-of-the-art ease. The home features stone and hardwood flooring, 10-foot ceilings, and generous trim and moldings bringing a warmth and character to the design aesthetic of the cottage.
• Artful touches include a vaulted ceiling in the living and dining areas and a beautiful exposed beam ceiling in the main floor master bedroom. Bath and shower fixtures will bear the Grohe, Barclay and Kohler signatures and top-of-the-line Rinai-type tank-less water heaters will provide maximum efficiency for guests.
• The home’s kitchen, replete with Kitchen-Aid top-tier appliances and Shaw’s Original farmhouse sink, will inspire culinary endeavors while speakers built into the living room and deck aim to promote ease in entertaining. The dining room and kitchen island allows seating for many.

• Fresh off the success of his sold-out Cypress Point neighborhood, architect, Mitch LaPlante furthers his dedication to superior design and construction with this Sea Lavender Cottage. Guided by a passion for easy living and conservation, LaPlante has been designing homes on Kiawah and surrounding communities for two decades.
Absolutely no pets and no smoking allowed!
Pool can be heated for additional $145 per day (4 day minimum). Small supply of beach equipment (coolers, boogie boards, beach toys) located in garage.
Monthly rates are available for off season. Pay for 3 weeks and get 1 for FREE! Please contact the Manager with any special requests or about the scheduling of 4 weeks at this lovely home!
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice.

We had a great stay. The house was nicely appointed and fit the description as described. The location was excellent. The house was so well equipped and appreciate the owners attention to detail to make sure all the kitchen supplies were there if needed. We plan on staying again and highly recommend it!

Hello-We love Sea Lavender and have booked I think 4 times now and have rented with ESPM now 5 times. We debated if we should call about all of this, but we are starting to see signs of neglect at Sea Lavender and hate that because we love the home. We truly love the home’s feel. Decor and location, renting with ESPM and recommend ESPM to friends. This was our first experience where things were just not fantastic. When we arrived the refrigerator was not working nor was the freezer-we did not discover this however until we bought a weeks worth of groceries. The on call maintenance person was very helpful. We were able to fix it but had to reload all of our groceries in coolers and move things to garage freezer over night to ensure it worked-we didn’t find out until the morning that it worked. We waited for a few hours the next morning for the maintenance person and they never showed. Since the fix worked we didn't want to take more time, but were surprised they never came to the house or followed up. Some other things that were not working properly are in the primary bedroom shower. The shower did not drain -we were always in standing water while bathing, the sinks are not working with water spraying from the faucets in that bathroom. Also in the kitchen the right front burner on the stove is also not working with only half of it lighting. There were other things as well but minor. We were able to manage all of it but we absolutely love this house and it made us sad to see the issues. The only other thing to note is that when we arrived it also didn’t seem as if it was cleaned thoroughly. We found a contact lens on the floor in the primary bathroom, one bedroom was very dusty not seeming to be touched, the cleaning staff left a bag of towels in the family room upstairs and the kitchen counters felt sandy. We don’t like to complain but felt all of these things were worth sharing because we want to come back and hope
