Location provides a variety of outdoor activities throughout the valley. Spectacular views of mountains and ski areas with easy access to hiking, swimming. fishing and swimming in the summer and downhill and cross country skiing, sledding, ice skating and tubing in the winter. Home borders wildlife refuge and just minutes away from beautiful Blackwater Falls State Park, Canaan Valley Resort and Timberline Ski area Home is beautifully decorated with 4,800 Square Feet, seven bedrooms, four and a half baths. Large outdoor deck and patio with hot tub and firepit overlooking private lake, Relaxing and beautiful location ---YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS EXPERIENCE!

Three floor home, two gas fireplaces, open spacious great room on first and lower floors, gas grill, two refrigerators and two dishwashers. Three TV's with DVD player, wifi, shuffleboard table, pool table, hot tub.
Master Bedroom on first floor with king bed and private full bath
1st upstairs bedrooom with queen bed and private full bath
2nd upstairs bedrooom with king bed and shared full bath
3rd upstairs bedroom with twin over full bunk, twin trundle and shared full bath
3 bedrooms on lower floor with shared full bath - one king bedroom, one queen bedroom and one with two twins and pullout trundle bed.
Ceiling fans in every bedroom and great rooms, etc.
Plenty of space for several families to enjoy a vacation together!
Borders U.S. Wild Life Refuge area - great walking trail and spectacular scenery in a quiet newer community. Common pavilion area for parties/reunions with stone fireplace and children's playset/play area. Centrally located ten minutes from Blackwater Falls State Park and and five minutes from Canaan Valley State Park as well as Timberline and Canaan Ski Resorts.

What an amazing property! We like to take a long winter weekend and enjoy the outdoor activities of Tucker Co. The house is located between Canaan Valley/timberline and town of Davis so an easy quick drive into downtown for food and music. The house is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The large fireplaces were so enjoyable and the views were fabulous. Black out curtains over patio doors in bedrooms helped insure a lazy morning. Plenty of parking available and ample space for our family gathering of 14. Snow shovels and salt were available on the front porch and the community snow plow kept the driveway and roads clear in spite of heavy snowfall. The property is two thumbs way way up! We will likely book again!

We stayed 6 nights over Christmas. Very spacious with ample room for all to do their “their” thing-reading, playing video games, cooking, and just talking. It snowed which added to the Christmas festivities. Overall, we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful house! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could think of and we comfortably had a full house of 5 families with plenty of spaces for adults and teens to hang out independently. We loved the deck, grill, fire pit, pool table, all of it. Location was super convenient to Black Water Falls and other area hikes as well as exploring quaint Davis and Thomas. We're already talking about coming back this winter to take advantage of proximity to skiing. Lovely house & hosts!
