A two bedroom cosy cottage located just moments from Weymouths harbourside that sleeps four people.
Guinea Cottage is situated between Brewer’s Quay and Newton’s Cove in Weymouth. The cottage has two bedrooms, 1 x double and 1 x bunk beds and bathroom and can sleep four people. The cottage has a kitchen, sitting room with dining area and a lean-to conservatory. To the rear of the property has a patio courtyard with furniture. Guinea Cottage located just moments from Newton’s Cove in Weymouth provides the ideal cosy cottage for you to spend you small family holiday. Note: Please note the single bed has a second child's size pull out bed underneath (2’6 x 5’9). This pull out bed is suitable for children or a smaller adult. Please call if more info required. Note: This property may not be suitable for four adults due to the size of the 4th pull out bed.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Oven and hob, fridge, washing machine, 40' Smart TV, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot available. Town: This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Perfect location, just between the cove and harbour. General facilities were ok, but some investment required to bring it up to standard. (Missing plug in the kitchen sink, TV was not a Smart TV and could not access Netflix and the rug I’m the living room need to be replaced.) But overall enjoyed the stay very much.
