This Pali Ke Kua townhouse condo is located in the town of Princeville on the lush North Shore of Kauai. The North Shore is known for its beautiful tranquil beaches and majestic mountain peaks. The world famous Na Pali Coast is located here on the North Shore. You will likely see rainbows and waterfalls on most days! Princeville is home to an award winning golf course and has horseback riding and miniature golf close by. The condo complex sits on top of an ocean bluff where you can enjoy amazing sunsets and in springtime you can watch whales spouting offshore. This complex is the only one in Princeville that has its own private paved pathway to the beach. And what an amazing beach it is! You can surf, SUP, snorkel, swim, or sunbathe all at one beach. Plenty to do for everyone in your group!

Our condo is the perfect home away from home as you discover all Kauai has to offer. This two story unit has two master suites, each with full bathrooms, and large picture windows that have a peak of an ocean view. The condo has WiFi, a 55' flat screen tv, cable. The upstairs also has a 40" flat screen tv. The kitchen is stocked with all your needs. There is an electric grill on the furnished lanai. The morning sun comes in the dining room window making it the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The large stone counter and bar area is another great option for enjoying a meal. The condo is furnished Hawaiian style and has a nice breeze that keeps the condo comfortable and cool during most days. The lanai off the living area opens up to a spacious grassy area that has a view towards the ever changing mountains and skies of Kauai. Only a few units away is the pool area with Jacuzzi.
A short 10 minute drive brings you to the historic town of Hanalei, known for it's taro fields and 2 miles of soft white sandy beach at the bay where you can enjoy surfing, SUPing, kayaking, swimming, boogie boarding, or just relaxing under a beach umbrella.
There are many restaurants, shops, galleries and grocery markets to explore nearby.

This place was a dream. AC was awesome in the main bedroom, washer/dryer worked well and served very useful. All amenities were great for our first time in Kauai. They even had beach chairs for us to use, and ample towels for the beach.

Laura has created a beautiful home not only with the Hawaiian decor but with supplies and empty spaces for personal use. The location is lovely, quiet ,comfortable inside and out. It's a private place except for the Nene who dropby to say Aloha on occasion. One of the best stays we've ever had

We loved this perfect location for walks to 2 beaches and stunning vistas nearby. The condo was so peaceful, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and nice to sit and look out on lush plantings and a lawn full of egrets. Lots of birds singing. Comfortable sleeping and fully equipped kitchen. We’d love to stay here again.

lovely home and ample room for 4 adults. we had some technical difficulties with appliances which was disappointing but the owners were very responsive and were clearly working to resolve things as quickly as they could. my only lingering concern is that what they are calling a futon is really more of just a fold up cushion, and as i had to sleep on it all week, i can tell you i would recommen a child only, not for an adult. had i known this ahead of time, i would have chosen a different space to rent, as there is a king bed and a queen bed, but we were a group of four that needed 3 beds. i have slept on real futons my whole life with no problems, so i figured this would be a fine set up until i saw the cushion in the closet and realized it was not an actual mattress. otherwise, a sweet place, and hideaway beach is a gem. thank you.

This listing doesn’t do this place enough justice! The location of this property is amazing. It’s in a beautiful golf course community with walking paths all around. The condo is peaceful with access to a backyard green space. The beach is walking distance, just be aware that the path is steep and in the winter the water is too rough to swim. The kitchen is well stocked including some spices and condiments , as well. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a couple complimentary k cups for the coffee maker as we arrived too late to pick any up before our first morning. The futons were such a bonus to have as our kids prefer not to share beds. Pool towels, beach chairs, beach mats, small coolers, boogie boards, and a yoga mat! So helpful!The pool area seems to have had a facelift since this photo. It is gorgeous with a lovely hot tub. The only thing to know is that a lot of the most popular activities are in the south, so you really need a car and many of our activities were an hour drive. That was fine for us, but just something to be aware of. Overall, we were SO happy with our stay and would highly recommend it!

Centrally located to many places of interest and a couple of quaint towns —variety of decent restaurants, B’s Kitchen excellent! Coffee House in Hanalei excellent! This place is hard to find at first, don’t arrive after dark! It is also una/c’d in entire place except upstairs bedroom. I missed that in the description. So so for kitchen—very small washer & dryer (in 1st floor bdrm) 2 spacious full bathroom/bdrm ensuites. Beach chairs etc available, appreciated. If you’re not planning on being at home during the day (much like our situation) it is bearable in the early mornings and evenings on the 1st floor. Not so much upstairs. Too many rules about using a/c. I rented the place, assuming full use as I can not tolerate heat. That being said, for the prices I paid, I was not going to sleep poorly due to heat & humidity. This place needs updating too. Couldn’t tell if shower floor tiles had pastel yellow tint or the cleaning service didn’t scrub hard enough? Gnats of several sorts coming from sink drains. Geckos playfully scattering about. Lanai is small but liked having use. I would not rent this place again because of the a/c situation.

I did not have much communication with Laura. There was no need as the instructions she provided before our visit was plentiful. And that was really all the communication we had and needed. The Condo was clean and fully equipped. The two bedrooms have portable Air Conditioners, but Living Room and Kitchen only have ceiling fans. Note: The Living Room/Kitchen got tropically warm/hot and did not cool down much even with the patio doors open and ceiling fans running. However this is the weather we expected in Kauai. The bathrooms were stocked with soap bars and shampoo and conditioner bottles. Also there was a washer and dryer with available detergent. The small things make a big difference and I appreciate that these were available. There were TV’s which we didn’t use. Wireless Internet delivered without issues. The Kitchen had all the amenities for us to cook meals. Foodland, the local grocery store is at the strip mall just pass the main entrance into Princeville. The directions to the condo are as good as can be but if you arrive during night time, there are few lights and you can easily miss the driveway entrance to the condominium community. Laura has put together a great rental and the accommodations were warm and elegant. The check in/out were hassle free and I regret not booking for a longer stay. When I return, I will have Laura’s rental on my list.

This condo was the right choice! It was bright, airy, spacious, nicely decorated. Everything you would want to have in your own beach house was provided. With the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, couch, there was plenty of room and supplies for our family of 6. There were boogie boards, snorkeling supplies, beach towels, outdoor toys. There is a pretty little garden by the lanai with plumeria etc, and the lanai backs into a large shared grassy field where the kids enjoyed playing baseball. For adults, we lived just hanging out and relaxing in the lanai. Wonderful kitchen! Nearby Foodland made it easy to cook and eat in, saving a bit to offset the cost of stay and activities. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking dishes, serving dishes, small appliances, and some seasonings and oils. The area is spectacular. We didn’t find the private path to hideaway beach, but the standard trail from the road at a nearby resort is a short walk, about 15 minutes total from room to beach. Both Hideaway beach and Hanelei are beautiful. We came in August, with daytime highs in the low 80s. With fans on and windows open, it was comfortable, noting that we are from Texas and keep our home thermostat at 77, so some may find it too warm without ac. Overall, we were delighted, and I wish we could stay forever!

Having stayed elsewhere in Princeville before, we enjoyed the airflow in the condo, as it stayed comfortable all the time in warm July, and we didn't have to use the upstairs AC. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the barbecue was great to have available to use. Really enjoyed the lanai for meals and relaxing. Liked having the pool/hot tub close by, and the beach chairs and other beach gear were handy. A short walk to amazing sunrises and sunset views! Mahalo for your hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is clean, really spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are huge, and the layout allows for everyone to have their own space. The best part is the setting, the living space looks out onto a beautiful grassy area, which is beautifully landscaped with island plant variety. The birds would frequent the area, and it was like our own private botanical zoo. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee just gazing out at all the greenery, it was beyond serene and peaceful. Also really quiet and private, we felt like the only ones there. Walking distance to hideaways beach, and the super relaxing setting makes this place a true gem. We will definitely stay here anytime we visit the north side of the island!

The condo was just right for our group (2 couples). Quiet, beautiful landscaping, well-maintained. We enjoyed watching the birds and geckos from the lanai, and the very short walk to view the ocean. We loved walking down the private path to enjoy snorkeling and swimming at the beach. Very relaxing! I would stay here again!

We have stayed at many properties in Princeville over the years, but this one stands out from the others. The park-like grounds are spectacular, the location is fabulous and the actual unit is delightfully decorated with tasteful Hawaiian decor. Wonderfully comfortable, with everything you could possibly need, this space was roomy and perfect for 4 people. There is excellent air circulation and the lanai provided a super place to watch a community of gold dust geckos and many lovely birds. We were serenaded by the incredible Shuma birds in concert with many others every morning and evening. We are so grateful that the owners are willing to share their vacation home with others. It was hard to say good-bye!

The condo was comfortable and clean. It was well appointed and we appreciated helpful extras like fold out mattress and additional sheets and blankets. The location is great, right by pizza place and 15 minute walk from the beach. The only disappointment was the pool and hot tub, which were closed during our whole stay. It would have been nice to know that up front. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.

The only problem we had with this unit was the next door neighbor, evidently an owner. First morning of the first day my wife, who read the rules as a no-smoking home, lit a cigarette on way down to check out the pool - on the way back she was confronted angrily by this neighbor - in a few minutes we get a call from the owner as this neighbor accused us of smoking in the unit - absolutely not true as we do not smoke in our own home or autos. Also unaware of the quiet time from 9pm until 8am - don't even run a dishwasher!! First night about 10, with the TV on volume 10 and my wife asleep on the couch, said neighbor was banging on the wall! Bottom line this neighbor dampened our happiness with this unit, which otherwise is very very nice. Kauai is our favorite island and we have been there many times, but this is our first renting a condo - we'll go back to houses in the future.

Really enjoyed our short stay! The location is really convenient to some food and shopping (Food Land!), and we made daily trips down to Hanalei, only about a 10 minute drive away. Had we done our research better, we'd have learned that the Winter months are the best beach months on this side of the island, but we did manage a nice beach/snorkel day at Anini beach nearby. Really loved how remote this whole area felt, and will for sure return in the Summer months to explore the other nearby beaches when we can swim there. The unit itself has two great beds and big bathrooms. The beach mats and towels came in very handy, and we really appreciated having them. The kitchen was well stocked, and the pans and utensils worked great for making breakfast each day. The Keurig for coffee worked nicely, too. Air flow through the unit was nice, and we didn't need the A/C at all, as it wasn't super warm. Overall, really enjoyed this well kept unit and the nearby area. Had a great time on the island and hope to return soon. Thanks!

Our stay, here was nothing but enjoyable. Everything was better than described in the information, provided elegant artwork, two separate bedrooms for two couples to enjoy, completely furnished kitchen, and the friendliest birds you could ever imagine on the back porch. Furnishings are all comfortable, great beds, And close to the 1 Hotel that has an excellent and view of sunsets. Thank you for sharing you special place with us!
