Janna e Sole Resort

The resort is beautifully laid out, in excellent condition and in a fantastic location. The room and facilities were spacious clean and comfortable. The pools (whilst very cold) were well situated, with a good amount of comfortable sun loungers - nicely spaced so as not to feel over crowded. The food was delicious and varied each day.

***disclaimer we visited in the very first week's of the season and some of these issues may have been seasonal*** The bars were somewhat confusing with 3 different all inclusive packages - identified by who you booked the holiday with - the packages were quite vague and seemed to change by the day - we aren't big drinkers so this didn't really effect us but it would be annoying if you wanted to drink a variety of drinks whilst away - on our particular package we were restricted to the cocktail of the way, wine, beer, gin and whiskey (and all soft drinks) some days we could have a gin and tonic other days we were only allowed gin and lemonade - as I said not a deal breaker but confusing!! The beach - we ventured out in search of the beach on first arrival - having read it was down a sandy track and a bit of a walk - we didn't find the official beach but did find a beautiful park to wonder through and some public beach which was beautiful but not sandy - eventually at the end of our stay the beach train started running and we realised the official beach was about a mile down the beach - once there absolutely stunning and lots of sunbeds. It was disappointing that there was not information on this when the train was not running as it's easily accessible by foot once you know where it is!(around 15/20 mins walk along the beach) Whilst all the staff were friendly enough there was non that went to extra mile to make your stay better - no waiter style service for the bars all fetch your own - again not deal breaking but takes some of the shine off. Availability of pool / beach towels - we had taken out own so didn't pursue this much but there was no obvious place to pick these up - we were originally told by a life guard they weren't available - we did see People with them late in the holiday so suspect this was perhaps not true - but better communication on this at check in or in the room would have helped!

The property is well-kept, and everywhere is clean. When considering that this was an all-inclusive resort, the quality of the food was good. Staff was very helpuful and friendly at all times. Especially the entertainment team did their utmost to make the stay pleasant and fun.

Drink selection could be better for an all-inclusive. We had to pay extra if we wanted branded soft drinks. Barista coffee is available after 10am otherwise, it's an extra fee. We had an issue with ants in the room on the first day, however room was cleaned the next day and they provided us with a spray can that we used every night on the doors, the ants did not return. The room is on a lawn so these things are expected.

We love the Resort, everything was just great. We highly reccomend it. From delicious and diverse food, every day, to very friendly staff. All the staff, including waiters, animation crew, cleaning ladies, reception, technicians, all of them are responsible for making us feel welcome and like at our own country. So many hardworking people in one place, fascinating! Spanish-Mexican style houses, very very nice with lots of greenery.

We loved it all! Seriously! :)
