The house is nice and big. Had a few issues with bugs getting in, but we dealt with it. Could do with more paper towels and toilet paper on hand, but host was available to provide new supplies when needed. Fireplace is great, location is nice, pretty close to everything (not that hard on an island). A really nice serene place to unwind and unplug. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay on Madeline Island. The house is secluded, private, well kept and a beautiful view of Lake Superior

Payne Cottage was the perfect get away. The property was everything we expected. The view was stunning. We came with family for their first time. They were amazed at the beauty of it all.
