This place is great. Its close to to the Retezat mountain and it has great views. The hosts are extremely polite and they really made this stay memorable for us. The food they made for us for us was great and they were able to provide very useful information about the mountains that we wanted to hike :)

The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff was friendly. From the balcony at the second floor, the view of the mountains is mesmerizing. The food was also pretty good. The rooms were clean, hot water running at the shower and tap, pretty much all you need for a small city break.
We were offered to try some local liquor, and perhaps it is my fault because I assumed it is for free, but if I am paying for something, I would like to be told before, not just asked if I would like to try something, then later charged.
I will be more skeptical when someone offers you nicely something to try.

Friendly staff, tasty food for both lunch and dinner, clean room with comfortable bed. The cabin is located right on the edge of the fir forest, offering a beautiful view of the entire area, close to the chairlift.

The location and views were great! plenty of seating space on the decking and balcony’s. having the fridge was handy!
The food was very expensive! 2 dinners and 4 breakfasts cost over 250 lei. A little steep considering it was one course and very basic.
Bed sheets were clean, but very thin and old. scratching when touched and the pillows had no padding.
Noise throughout the place was loud due to no insulation.
Warning of the rod leading to the cabin would have been handy.
