Absolutely a 10/10 stay. This A-frame cabin in Petroșani turned out to be exactly the escape we needed. The view is simply stunning — waking up to the mountains around you is something photos can’t quite capture. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made settling in effortless and comfortable from the moment we arrived.
But what really made the difference was the quiet. Real, deep mountain silence — the kind that lets you actually switch off and breathe. And the host was wonderfully welcoming, warm and attentive without being intrusive, always ready to help.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to disconnect in the Jiu Valley, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.
