Nestled on top of the Rockies with breathtaking views of Tenmile Range, our luxury home has everything you want for a mountain getaway. Tenmile Terrace offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to ski runs and the charming Victorian town of Breckenridge. A short walk to the Summit Stage bus stop connects you to free, year round, and convenient transportation directly to the ski slopes and the quaint downtown. For those who prefer to stay home, you can’t find a better destination to soak in the beautiful mountain views, alpine forest, and brilliant starry nights.
Upon entry to the duplex through the front door or heated two car garage, you immediately feel at home in the large, open, and roomy upstairs family gathering area. The living area is outfitted with comfortable furnishings surrounding a rock fireplace and flat screen television. The mountain decor and log cabin furniture throughout the house adds to the high-country ambiance. Just off the living room and adjacent to the dining area is the spacious gourmet kitchen trimmed in beautiful wood and granite surfaces. Conveniently located on the main floor is the large master bedroom and recently remodeled luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower. Access to the large upper deck is through the master as well as the living area.
The lower level continues with the theme of spacious, openness with its own rock fireplace, flat screen TV, and comfortable sitting area with plenty of space for the entire family. There are 3 large bedrooms downstairs including a second master suite with a fluffy log king bed and over-sized remodeled bathroom with Champaigne-bubble jetted tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom contains a cozy log queen bed and the bunk room has a queen bed along with two twin-over-twin bunk beds – each bedroom with its own fully remodeled bathroom. Also downstairs is the custom pool table made from beautiful pine logs, a Foos ball table, and a large hot tub on the lower deck.
Did I mention the amazing views? Whether relaxing in the living room, tinkering in the kitchen, feasting in the dining room or waking up in the bedroom, the views are unforgettable. Tenmile Terrace is the perfect mix of solitude, comfort, convenience and sensory fulfillment. Whether you visit in winter, spring, summer or fall you are in for a treat. The mountain decor and log furniture give it a cabin feel while being comfortable and well stocked. A full kitchen has everything you would need to prepare meals including a full supply of spices. There is a drip coffee pot, Keurig, KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix blender, waffle maker, crock pots and toaster oven. There is a full-size crib, two Pack-n-play's, a high chair, box fans, an installed baby gate and kid-friendly dining ware for the little ones.

I can’t rave enough about this place as well as its owners, Kathy and Dirk. As much as I can rave, I also find it hard to find the most accurate words to describe how spectacular our stay was. Kathy was so understanding and her response times were on point. With the house itself, I can’t brag and boast enough about the fact that we were able to stay here…some reviews don’t do it enough justice in my opinion but I’m here to tell you, you won’t regret your stay here. The views are otherworldly and had the best sunset I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I’ve already expressed to my husband that I would like to start planning our next stay here…& our friends immediately said they would gladly stay here with us because of how much they loved the property as well. Thank you again to the hosts for answering my numerous questions and for being so helpful and supportive. We can’t wait to make our way back soon.

Everything listed was 100% accurate...the views, the space, the spices, etc. They have everything you need; a well stocked kitchen, blankets, towels, pillows, instructions for the hot tub and washer/dryer, pool table, foosball, games, etc. The location is perfect too. Those views!!This place made our sisters getaway even more special because it was so peaceful. Lots of birds to listen to. Even saw a mule deer, fox, squirrels and chipmunk. Have I mentioned those views?!?!Communication was fast and friendly!If you are on the fence because you think it might be too expensive, trust me it's worth it! Did I mention those views?!Thank you!!!!

Kathy, I just wanted to tell you that we very much enjoyed your house. We have been doing this “indoor camping” for several years now, and your house was the most comfortable for our gathering. The music system now works, thanks to your handy man replacing the device input connection. You will probably want to label the new connection so it will match your information book instructions.It appears that your baking oven bake is not working properly. We tried it on 2 separate days, and despite the controls saying Bake 400 degrees, the oven itself never reached more than warm. We had to instead fire up the grill to bake our dinners as best we could on the grill. You might want to check the oven. Overall, this was still a great event for us. You set a high bar in the setting and view, and the overall quality of the house. Our group changes our location each year, and we hope to find another rental next year that is as nice as yours. Thanks.

This was our second stay at this beautiful home and we loved it. It is perfect for traveling with friends and kids who want to hit the slopes or the town. Highly recommend!
