A very good and comfortable choice for a campbase to explore Southern Scotland

The apartment is great: spacious, clean, vey good for 4 people, kitchen perfectly equipped, really comfortable. Irene is super helpful and it is right on top a supermarket (Coop) with all you may need for a regular shopping. Dollar is very well located for daily tours to Stirling, Edinburgh, Perth....etc and very close to very interesting hiking trails in The Hermitage. Worthy to mention that right from the door of the apartment you can hike several beautiful easy and moderate trails.

If anything to say, the apartment is a two storey flat with the two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs and kitchen, dining room and another bathroom downstarir, This has to be considered for people with disabilities. And no plug in the bathrrom is a disadvantage if you want to use the hairdryer but I am sure Irene will do something about this . And lastly, being in August, high season, price was a bit high but we knew how thigs are in here in August.

We were dropping our daughter off at Stirling university,,the house was so nice to come back to ..

There was cheese,,bread,,crackers,,juice,,lots of little extras,,it was very thoughtful to leave these extras in the accommodation.we loved the fact that it is above the little co op,,there is the best Chinese takeaway just minutes away,,a cafe,,pub,,delicatessens,,I want to move there.x

The only downside I would foresee would be if you have a prom or very infirm,,there are outdoor steps to go up to get into the house,,not a problem for us ,,but could be for people with a pram. No problem at all with parking,,we parked across from the house or in front of the Chinese,,plenty of parking.

Overall very good

Everything was perfect, host was very caring . We never met her but she was available via telephone all the time. Apartment was very tastefully decorated and everything we needed was there.

Only negative was we were asked to strip out the bedding understandably due to Covid restrictions, we found main bedroom duvet had so many yellow stains , I didn’t have the heart to tell the host as she was so good, it really put us off . I wish I never saw that , apart from that we really enjoyed the stay .

Great communication from the owners. Parking was a doddle. Great location. Interior was amazing. Loads of space. Brilliant bathrooms/showers and kitchen. 5 adults used as a base to go into Loch Lomond/Trossachs and it was perfect for us.

Beautifully appointed apartment in a great location for exploring the Ochils and further afield.. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful and the welcome box was a really nice touch.
