THE PROPERTY,LOCATED AT THE VIA FRANCIGENA IN THE TUSCAN COUNTRYSIDE,IS AN OLD FARMHOUSE RECENTLY RESTORED INTO A HOLIDAY HOUSE. THE HOUSE IS SELF CONTAINED ON AN ESTATE OF 9000 SQ.METRES INCLUDING THE VINEJARDS AND OLIVE CAMP. THERE IS A LOW DIVIDING HEDGE BETWEEN THE HOLIDAY HOME AND OUR SUMMER HOUSE. WHERE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMEONE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS. THE HOUSE IS COMPLETELY PRIVATE AND THERE AREN'T SHARED AREAS. AND THE GATE IS AUTOMATIC. THE HOUSE IS IN ALTOPASCIO ACHARMING PLACE TO STAY, SURROUNDED BY WINERIES AND RESTAURANTS.THE MANOR OFFERS ALL COMFORT, TV, WIFI FREE, AIR CONDITIONING, HEATING AT WINTER, ANTITHEFT, LINEN, ROOM, CLEANING,GARDEN AND PARKING. THE GARDEN IS PRIVATE AND HAS MANY SPACES TO EAT AND SIT OUTSIDE . IN FRONT OF THE House there is a big sidewalk where there is a table and an umbrella where the guests can have very nice breakfast. NEAR THE SWIMMING POOL ( 8x4) WITH ROMAN STEPS, THERE IS AN OUTBILDING, WHERE YOU CAN FIND A PLAYROOM, A DRESSINGROOM, AND A BATHROOM WITH JACUZZI. IN FRONT OF THIS DEPANDANCE WE HAVE A PERGOLA UNDER WHICH YOU CAN EAT AND MAKE BARBECUE.AROUND THE SWIMMING POOL THERE ARE SUNBEDS, UMBRELLAS AND A SHOWER. Villa Cerine boasts a volleyball court, a 5 aside football pitch (goal posts included), a ping-pong table and basket ball posts. (All balls are supplied for whoever would like to organise a game). Golf lovers will indeed love the idea of playing golf amongst the olive camps of Montecatini, which is near enough but not easy to reach and so a mini bus is available at a low cost for our very own guests . Cookery courses are also available. ALL THESE AREAS ARE PRIVATE AND THE GUEST CAN ENJOY THE PRIVACY AND TRANQUILITY. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed with an appetizer.

We were a family of 6 adults and 3 children aged 1-8 years. it is a super nice house and the communication with the landlord was really good. reception and departure worked perfectly. However, we think that the description of the house is a bit misleading. It appears as if there are 5 bedrooms, 4 with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. This is not correct. There are only 4 rooms and the 2 single beds are beds to fold out and with very poor sleeping comfort and not suitable for adults.The landlord should specify this in the description of the house

The house was amazing. No detail was overlooked. The pool, the covered patio, the amenities, nothing was overlooked. We had a couple of minor problems that were promptly addressed We hope to return !

This is a lovely holiday house on the outskirt of Altopascio. The house itself has 4 good bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is suitable for groups of adults ( we were 7 ) and families with children. The garden and swimming pool is beautiful with a lovely view towards the mountains on one side. It is like a little oasis in the middle of the country side, but is in fact only 5 min walk to the train station with good train connections to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Yes you can hear the trains when lying by the pool, but you soon get used to it and it isnt really a problem, especially as the trains dosent run during the night. Loredana the housekeeper is a total star and will help with anything you want including delivering fresh bread every morning. Altopascio itself may not be the most beautiful town in the world but the locals are very friendly and kind and will open their arms to you.We felt very wellcome. The little Bar/ Pattiserie you get to when you walk into the town from the house makes lovely coffees and drinks and also sells bread and snacks. There are several good Restaurants and a couple of very good places to get Italien ice creams. Market day is Thursday morning and well worth a visit. It takes about 5 - 7 min to walk to the centre of the town.I can not fault this place and is hoping to come back one day.
