Bike&Bed

Delighted with my 2 night stay and bike rental for Thakhek loop from Nong at Bike & Bed. Hostel bed was comfy, nicely homely feel that instantly makes you feel comfortable, cool outdoor space that allows you to chill out/be social. And also the biggest highlight is her two dogs who keep you well looked after. Also great location along Mekong river for some lovely sunsets and also very close to cafes/restaurants

The facilites are amazing, Nong provides coffee & kettle use whenever you want, the treehouse is a perfect place to relax and read, the showers are clean with great water pressure and good quality shower cream provided too. The storage room for luggage whilst doing loop is incredibly safe and clean. They do laundry service, bike hire and so attentive to all your needs. Nong is the kindest, sweetest hostess she works so hard. Also a great location close to night market & 7 eleven.

Nong is incredibly helpful, kind and supportive. I hired a bike for the loop and Nong was beyond helpful.

There's a $20 fine for anyone caught having sex in the dorms 😄

Owner has a number of dogs, one of which sleeps with the owner in one of the dorms... odd 🤔 Guests are also warned not to leave their shoes outside on the floor because said dogs might be tempted to go full destruction... so in case you have expensive hiking shoes or Campers be warned 😁 Owner also has a tiny aquarium in lobby area with an annoyingly noisy air pump.
