If a fun in a room is adjustable and quiet, I would have slept well.

Clean room, close to the night market and the Mekong river. We could store our bicycles inside

The two best things about the Grand are the staff and the location. I stayed in a fan room which was distinctly grubby. Everything worked, but, with the exception of the bed, everything had the air of not being touched for a décade or two. Shower worked extremely well, but the cockroach or two living there did not appeal.
Room needed a decent scrub and a new paint job.
A shame, the Grand should have had a lot going for it.
