Alluvia Boutique Winery & Luxury Accommodation

Very well positioned with golf courses and other wine farms in close proximity.

Absolutely stunning the sense of tranquility staff super friendly even though the restaurant was booked out for a function alternatives were given.

Beautiful location and great area and beautiful views.

When we arrived there was a matric farewell dance so lots of people around , lots of shouting teenagers and room was slightly exposed to their phot sessions by the pool. But that’s to be expected in this area and the season. However ; we were not notified at the check in. Nothing serious , but perhaps a small heads up would have been nice. Then the biggest thing for us was just the lack of management. There was nobody while we were there. The pool was in disarray , filthy and cushions laying everywhere , staff seems to be doing what they wanted and the glass doors in the restaurant has hands marks on them so you can see there is no cleaning happening. The restaurant food in itself was really good but half the restaurant is standing full of equipments towards the bar area for the next shift or the next service at all times. All in all the rooms were great and if they just pay attention to detail it can be a much better and much more competitive in its area.

The scenery is superb, and the views of the mountains are spectacular, although we did not have a view from our room. Staff were also friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was very good. There was a manned gate and the location felt very safe.

The hotel had a sort of “5 year old Ikea furniture feel.” Room was comfortable enough, but had a slightly sticky, beginning to be run-down feel. When I got down to do pushups I noticed the floor had not been well vacuumed. I would also note that the wine is not very good and that the dinner fare, which we did not sample, looked fairly heavy.
