Great location in Carlsbad village. Other than a grocery store, everything you need is within walking distance. Rental could use a few upgrades in terms of furniture, small appliances, TV, etc., but otherwise everything was fine. Upstairs condo was just the right size for my husband and I to visit friends for graduation celebration. Felt safe, away from the busiest streets, yet very accessible to all we needed, especially to walk the Carlsbad promenade or beach. All kinds of shops and restaurants nearby. The condo itself is older but comfortable. Bed was good. Kitchen was adequate for the cooking we did. The hostess was always available if needed, though we missed meeting her as she was under the weather.

My husband & I spent 4 days at TuTu's in mid-September. It was very relaxing & laid-back. The space was compact, but not cramped, & very comfortable. The complex was small & this 2nd floor unit had a vaulted wood ceiling (touch of classic California design!) to help with cooling. There is not central air in the unit, but ceiling fans & stand fans kept it cool enough with screens & ocean breezes. There is a portable A/C unit in the bedroom that was appreciated for sleeping. We chose not to rent a car and this was a good location in regard to Carlsbad Village Train/Bus Station, beach, & restaurants. Getting to a real grocery store was a 1-1.2 mile walk (or we could have taken a bus), but no hills & plenty of pedestrian crossings. And there is a 7-11 right across the street if you don't mind paying convenience store prices. Faye was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again should we come back to the area!

We were there during very warm weather and there is no central air conditioning, however there is a portable air conditioner in the bedroom which made sleeping comfortable. There are ceiling fans in every room and two additional portable fans which were much appreciated. Easy walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Terrific location with easy walking access to the beach and the heart of Carlsbad. The property is the right size for a couple that want to stay for a few days or a few weeks. Simply, but adequately furnished and larger than the average hotel suite. Lack of air conditioning (common in San Diego area residences) is the only shortcoming-portable A/C unit in bedroom mitigates this at night. We had a great stay and would do it again.

Not only is the condo absolutely lovely itself, but the location is incredible. There is a tandem parking spot which is terrific in such a desirable neighborhood, and so many walkable restaurants, shops, bars, you name it. Faye was so commicative and helpful as well. A perfect getaway.

The property is very nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed the good natural lighting provided by lots of windows and the skylight. The property was exactly as described and very well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful when little issues popped up that we needed help with. Would highly recommend because of its location and convenience in regards to the beach and many fine restaurants and shops all within a few blocks. The only concern I would have is if you aren’t used to a train running nearby all day and into the evening, it could disrupt your sleeping. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
