Good for sightseeing (and city beach as well)

Spacious and bright appartment in good location in Chania. There is a washing machine and a drying rack available. The owner is friendly and despite the minor inconveniences our stay was very pleasant.

Unfortunately there is no dish washer, but we overlooked that in the feature summary. The bathroom is very small, and the open shower quickly wets the floor, so you have to mop after every use. Free parking is available but does not belong to the appartement - as is probably common in big cities, you have to look for one in the surrounding each day.

The apartment was very clean and nice and the owner of the flat was very kind to us, when we asked for another set of keys, he came right away and even when it was time to leave the apartment,he let us stay and wait for the taxi till 12:30 even though we were supposed to leave at 10am.

The stairs were very steep, and when we arrived the person that met us told us that the lift didn't work ,so we had to go up 3 flight of stairs with the luggage .then we noticed that the lift was working.btw it is a single person lift,so maybe she didn't want to wait for us to go up one by one.The area of the street looked a bit slummy, but apartment was good.

Definitely worth the stay

Air conditioning, nice balcony with a view of surroundings, laundry machine, kitchen with all utensils and cookery needed, large and spacious. Tv had Netflix. Bathroom was decent size with a nice shower (just needs a shower door to stop the water going on the floor). Great location, 3 minute walk from the bus station

Exceptional

Modern and spacious apartment with a nice location. Located only a few minutes away from Old Town and city beach as well. There are few supermarkets near the apartment and food corners also. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Host was very friendly and gave us some quick info on where to go and what to see, communication was great. My recommendation for this apartment as our experience was simply perfect. Thank you!

Superb

The apartment is big, quiet, has long balconies on both sides of the apartment. Big windows but good shades in two bedrooms to get dark if wanted even in daylight. Equipments in a kitchen were plenty; freezer, toaster, bread grill, coffee machine, washing machine, microwave oven, electric orange juice maker...basically only luxury missing would be dish machine.

The apartment is on the second floor. The staircase was missing a handrail after the first 1/2 floor. If there is an earthquake, it is difficult to leave the building along the stairs without a handrail. It’s a condominium problem, not the cause of the apartment renter, but should be taken care of. The elevator can be accessed by one person and leaves from the 1/2 floor upwards.

Exceptional

We arrived over 4 hours late due to flight delays. Which meant we arrived at 2am however our host was in contact with us and assured us he would be there to meet us and that this was not a problem. He also keep our luggage safe for us on the last day of our holiday. Throughout our stay he checked to see if we needed anything and if we did this was provided for us. Our host was very friendly and spoke great English. In fact he was a gentleman who genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Séjour à Chania

L'appartement est grand et moderne. La literie est très confortable et le mobilier est moderne et quasi neuf.La climatisation est uniquement dans les chambres et fonctionne très bien. L'appartement est silencieux et nous avons vraiment pu nous reposer. Sachant qu'il est à 10 mm à pied du centre ville.Nous avons pu en profiter pour aller flâner dans les rues commerçantes du centre ville et le port.

Il n'y a qu'un seul jeu de clé avec une carte, comme dans un hotel, et permet d'avoir l'éclairage, les prises et la clim. Cela oblige en famille à faire tout ensemble la même chose, soit dedans, soit dehors. Comme pour les autres villes, le fait d'être quasi en centre ville rend le parking de la voiture un peu difficile. En sillonnant les rues à proximité, une place reste trouvable.
