Amazing stay, will book again if coming to Chania

Vera was an amazing host, friendly, flexible and taking extra step to make us feel at home right away and introduce us to local treats. The house is large and cozy, with all amenities listed, beautiful terraces and a huge kitchen-living area. It’s half way between beach and old town and literally next door to groceries, restaurants, etc. We felt comfortable walking there after dark

It’s in a rather busy residential area, so noise could be there quite late. It didn’t bother us

We loved it !

Ms. Vera is an exceptional hostess, who received us long after midnight with a warm meal, Cretan pies, a fruit bowl, wine, beer, juice and much more. Lilian’s house is very spacious and charming; it is lovingly restored. We loved the various outdoor spaces and the fabulous location !

The Best Placeto stay in Chania

spent two wonderful weeks in chania! partly because of Vera. she helped with planning our stay and always kept in touch. generous treats were waiting for us on check-in and check-out. whenever we needed information Vera always responded promptly. the house is very clean. location: 6 minutes to the beach and in the very center. enough space for a very large number of people, even though there were only three of us. the house is equipped with all the amenities from 6 types of coffee makers to an iron. on the ground floor we didn't even have to turn on the air conditioning, as the tiled floor created a pleasant cooling effect. Vera, once again thank you for being there. i give it 10 out of 10 in all respects

Amazing!!!

The apartment is amazing! It is artistic, authentic, clean and has everything you need and more! The beds are really comfortable. The outside sitting area is great and spacious- perfect for evening talks and drinks! Vera is the most amazing host we have ever imagined- she came to greet us and tell us all about Chania, leaving us great treats and more! Thank you Vera for everything!!! We will come to stay at the house for sure next time also! ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent stay

I dunno which was nicer- the property itself or the host. She was wonderfully kind to welcome us in person at 7 in the morning and even brought us some breakfast. Later, she gave us recommendations for visits during our stay and even came helped us with airport transfer by booking a taxi that was her cousin (who I must also add was super nice)> Regarding the property itself, it was super charming, the little details in decoration was beautiful. It was close to a beach, the old city center, several lovely restaurants (still dreaming about the burgers at Daglas), and the pick-up points to various tours.

There is nothing to not like about the stay. We look forward to coming back.

Fantastic location near beaches old town restaurants and shops.

Host is fantastic met us on arrival despite our flight being delayed. Water, wine,fruit and all the essentials of breakfast left out for us. The Host even secured a parking spot for us and explained where to park in Chania. Local restaurants, beach’s, supermarkets were suggested with routes explained to us.

Property was as advertised. Beautiful heritage property. Clean and comfortable and spacious. Close to city centre. All amenities available with extra special touches provided by host Vera - fruit, traditional Cretan pies, wine and beer, as well as juice. Vera was both friendly and hospitable . Great location, super cute and quaint house.

The house was super quaint and cute. The AC was amazing downstairs. Kept the place nice and cool. The upstairs could have used one more unit in the second room, but we kept the doors open and it wasn't bad. Loved that it had a second toilet as well as a washer. Both came in handy with 5 people. The host was so sweet and left some food/drinks for us when we checked in. The location was great--it was walkable to Old Town. The back patio was very cute. Overall we really enjoyed our time in Chania at this house. The bathroom was small, but the shower was great--great water pressure. The rest of the house was super spacious. We loved the cute Harry Potter bed under the stairs.

A parking spot would have been helpful. Parking in Chania is very stressful and we would have to park up to 10 min away.

The house was far bigger than we thought it would be, with lovely outside space. Everything was immaculate and beautifully done, so exceeded expectations. Vera, the host, went out of her way to make our stay as good as it could be !

Historic home in Chania

All the comforts of home and very spacious which was great for a large family group. Peaceful private terrace upstairs at the back of the house, high ceilings, full of character and items from a bye-gone age it felt like the home owners from yesteryear had just left. Short walk to to the old town or Nea Chora beach and with a nice taverna opposite. Our lovely hostess met us for check in, super hospitality with a selection of welcome goodies. The house made a great base to explore the local area, would definitely book again if returning to Chania.

Nothing really but worth mentioning that the 3 bedrooms upstairs are interconnecting, the bathrooms are downstairs, this wasn't a problem for us, there were also 3 single beds downstairs.

Lovely stay at Lillians House

Everything, it was the perrfect home away from home.

It's on a main street with high traffic(people/buses/cars) with a busy local Taverna opposite. This meant the street was busy all day from morning to late at night which meant their was noise coming from from front of the house but this didn't bother us at all.

The house is well situated in the center of Chania and has all you need to have a wonderful stay. Vera is a super woman, she welcomes you with food and drinks and you almost do not need to go for shopping on the first day of arrival (all is there for breakfast juice eggs ham cheese cereals...)... What a welcome thanks again. We were in trouble with our flight because of covid restrictions and Vera accepted us to stay at home with the luggages later than foreseen without charging us... Thanks again Vera you are the true Cretan good heart

Everything was super! We loved that there was already some fruits, Cornflakes etc in the kitchen. Also everything was very comfortable. Directly opposite there is a restaurant where you will get lovely Greek food. We ate their thrice :-) Must try. We will stay at Lillians house again if we come back.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Lilian's House. The owner, Vera, welcomed us with fully equipped 2-storey house, spacious and very cosy. She even left us some food in the fridge an drinks! The location is useful for those who want to explore the old town as well as the rest of the West Crete as it's very near the central bus station in Chania. There is a wonderful restaurant right in front of the place, gyros fast food, bakery and vegetable stand. If you want to stay in Chania, stay at Lilian's House, you will not regret!

Very clean and kept perfectly. A lot of space and an amazing terrace, we were 4 people and we loved it! The location was perfect to spend the night in the town and the host was very helpful and friendly.

Το καταλυμα βρισκεται στο κεντρο δινοντας προσβαση σε στασεις λεοφωρειου , παραλιες , μαγαζια (ειτε για ψωνια , ειτε για φαγητο). Η τοποθεσια του διευκολυνει πολλες δραστηριοτητες για καθε επισκεπτη. Επιπλεον στο καταλυμα προσφερονται φαρμακα , ειδη περιποιησης , ειδη θαλασσης αλλα και φαγητο. Η οικοδεσποινα ευγενεσταση κα προθυμη να μας βοηθησει με ο,τι χρειαστουμε. Σε γενικες γραμμες ειναι ενα καταλυμα που θα το ξανα επελεγα καθως καλυψε εμενα και την παρεα μου σε ολους τους τομεις με μεγαλη επιτυχεια. Θα το προτεινα ανεπιφυλακτα!!!

magnifique, wow., 5 étoiles

l'hote etait super acceulliante. a notre arrivée, elle nous a ceder sa place de stationnement. ( stationnement diffcile a trouvé a proximité). Par la suite, elle nous afait visiter l,appartement. c'était impeccable. et traditionnel grecque. wow, nous avons adoré. Nous étions une famille de 5 ( 3 enfants) et il y avait de la place pour tout le monde. grande maison sur 2 etages, les enfants ont adoré. La propriétaire , nous a acceulli avec tellement de gentillesse. 😊elle nous a offert un beau bol rempli de fruit avec des grignotine a manger. l'emplacement est parfait et a proximité de tout( de la plage 15 minutes a pieds, et du old town a 15 minutes également. le nigth life est incroyable. Beaucoup de boutique et un ZARA. La journée de notre départ, ma fille a eu un souci de santé. elle été hospitalisé et nous devions quitter l'appartement pour 11hrs. j''étais super inconfortable, car mon mari n'Était pas encore de retour et il était 11hrs passé. j'ai avisé l'hote de la situation et elle a été super compréhensive. nous avons quitter a 12hrs et la propriétaire a démonter beaucoup d'empathie face a notre situation. elle est meme aller chercher a dejeuner pour mes 2 autres enfants pendant que j,attendais le retour de ma fille et mon mari.Quel Bienveillance!!!! merci mille fois de ne pas m'avoir mis dehors de l'appartement avec mes bagages. notre séjour a été tres agreable et la propriété était tout simplement WOW.❤️

Sehr schöne und zentral gelegene Unterkunft zum Wohfühlen

Ein perfekter Ort für einen Aufenthalt in Chania. Vera, die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und geräumig und hat alles an Ausstattung, was man braucht. Mit einer schönen kleinen Terrasse im Erdgeschoss und 2 Balkonen im Obergeschoss. Ein Haus mit Flair und zweckmäßiger, schöner und interessanter Einrichtung, durch die man auch etwas von der Geschichte des Hauses erahnen kann. Ein kleiner Nachteil für ältere Menschen und Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist eventuell, dass sich die Toiletten und das Bad nur im Untergeschoss befinden, nicht bei den Schlafzimmern oben. Altstadt, Strand, Restaurants und Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind fußläufig zu erreichen, so dass man während des Aufenthalts auf ein Auto verzichten könnte.

Parkplätze sind schwer zu finden. Aber Vera hat uns dabei geholfen, einen Platz zu finden.
