About this house rental
The Big House is a sprawling 5 bdrm, 3 bath, 2 living rm affair designed to support your whole family vacation in style. The open concept kitchen/dining/living area features a full size shuffleboard table under a window framing Sierra Blanca, a gas fireplace below a flat screen, satelite connected TV, and some unique Texas style seating. On the other side of the marble top bar there is a gas range and a kitchen with all the food prep and cook ware any chef could need. Dishwasher, double ovens, pantry, fridge/freezer combo, ice maker, and RO softened water complete the room. Cook big and serve your crew at the pine dining table, and then adjourn to the downstairs TV/bar/poker table/wood burning fireplace room decorated in the style of a mountain dive bar. Why yes that is a skunk pelt hanging on the wall, thank you for asking, and yes we have talked and laughed well into the night on a number of occasions, and we invite you to do the same!! After drinks downstairs head up to the master suite and enjoy the private balcony for a night cap before sliding into the comfortable king bed, and pulling the black out shades until it's time to do it all over again. The master bathroom features a walk in closet, two sinks, and a huge shower with two shower heads. There are a washer and dryer in case y'all get messy feel free to do a load of laundry. The other direction out of the kitchen leads to the 4 downstairs bedrooms...the front room sports bunk beds, a TV, and a kids table and chairs for the little ones to conduct kid business. The next room down the hall is dual closeted and contains a comfy king bed, two nightstands, and bench. The back two bedrooms flank two full bathrooms, one more set of bunk beds in one, and a queen in the other. Both offer loads of closet space for your things. The backyard begins with a dual seating area deck and propane/charcoal grill BBQ. From there the yard falls away into a wooded ravine where we play with our dogs and enjoy nature under the stars.

It was great! We spend christmas there and the cabin had its own decorations which was nice for the kids. The cabin had everything we needed.
