Time to slip away and relax. Views of the ocean from the living room and the lake from the master bedroom. Our condo is in the perfect location; close to downtown so you don't have to drive but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of this charming community. Arrive through the gated entrance, pull into the private garage and unload everything onto the private elevator. There are 2 stairwells that access the condo in addition to the elevator. The condo is just across from the swimming pool (open mid May - October) for lounging during the day or a cool dip at night. We have provided all the comforts of home.
Enjoy all the amenities provided at Carolina Beach Lake (just across the street). There are paddle boats, kayaks, a walking/bike trail, playground, free movies during the summer and a farmers market on Saturdays.
A quick walk to downtown provides tons of entertainment. There are carnival rides (during peak season) and games, Britt's donuts, live music, ice-cream, bingo during the summer, wonderful boardwalk, restaurants, shops, etc., etc., etc. Enjoy the Thursday night fireworks from the pool to avoid the crowds downtown.
The condo has 3 master bedrooms all with queen size beds and private bathrooms (linens are not included but may be rented at your own accord and delivered via local services). There is also a twin over twin bunk bed with a twin trundle in one of the bed rooms. An additional twin sleeper sofa is located in the foyer. Large living area for relaxing while enjoying HD TV with surround sound, blue ray DVD player. There are lots of DVDs to choose from (for kids and adults). Each bedroom has it own HD TV for you enjoyment. Bring your gaming system for those teenagers that need to get their game on.

If you prefer to cook occasionally, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, bakeware, plenty of dishes/flatware and glassware. The appliances include a cook top range, double ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, crock pot, hand mixer, blender, and lots of other gadgets to help in the kitchen.
The condo boast granite counter tops and hardwoods throughout the main living areas. Bedrooms have soft carpeting. Bathrooms have ceramic tile floors.
Keyless entry doors to access the condo and garage. Garage door openers provided for easy coming and going during your stay.
Laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The garage houses pool and beach toys, chairs and coolers. For those Freeman Park goers there is an air compressor (90 psi) for inflating your tires and a shop vac so you can go home with a sand free vehicle.
Due to previous damage, the owners have installed a security camera in the garage and on entry way doors.
There is also plenty of things to do within a short driving distance. There is the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Fort Fisher Ferry, piers in both Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, Freeman Park on the north end of the island, the Battleship in Wilmington and the Tregembo zoo in Wilmington.

The condo was great with plenty of space and sleeping options, bathrooms were nice. The kitchen was updated and well-equipped but tight on space. The pool was nice. This condo is close to the hub of activities at the boardwalk. Our family really enjoyed staying here.

Location Location Location! You can't beat being able to walk to the boardwalk, restaurants, shops, coffee shops, etc. Also, located just feet from a beach access and you can watch the Thursday night fireworks from the pool or lawn chairs in the driveway. Condo was clean and well equipped. Loved having an elevator and garage and came with all kinds of beach gear. The decor is a bit dated and the beds were queens instead of kings but that worked for our group. Owners are extremely responsive and helpful. Main downside is not private outdoor space (i.e., balcony or deck) where you can sit and have coffee or cocktail hour. And, grill was located at the pool and shared by the entire complex. So, it was really dirty and we were not sure there was any propane. Conclusion: we have a great time and would stay here again!

Great location! Very beautiful & comfy home! Had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time. Galley kitchen was a little tight at times but plenty of cabinet/counter space.Michelle was wonderful and quick to respond to questions.Would highly recommend.

Cleanliness- unit was not left in good condition by prior renters and cleaning company hired by owners did not clean the unit to owners satisfaction or ours. We cleaned it the Monday after we arrived.
Check-in process- check in time was 4pm. Cleaning company did not pull out of garage until 4:30pm.
Accuracy of Listing - owners did not disclose active security camera located in garage to us in their emails and other VRBO communications.
Communications - owners answered their phones and responded to texts about our concerns over unit cleanliness upon arrival.
