Definitely recommend

The location was absolutely perfect – tucked away in a very original part of Venice that hasn’t been overrun by tourists (yet!). It felt like stepping back in time, especially in the early morning when the city is quiet… I swear I half expected to bump into a gondolier from the 1400s grabbing an espresso. 😄 The property itself is beautifully finished and had everything I needed – including air conditioning, which was a lifesaver after wandering the canals all day. All in all, a fantastic stay – I’d absolutely come back!

Decent old place.

The place is okay but don't expect something special. Near is one of the stops of vaporetto - so you could easily go to all important places. The communication was ok, via WhatsApp. Everything is automatically, we have not seen any person. There was one tower per person, clean bedsheets, the water was hot and with dood flow, they was AC and some other conveniences.

Our room was very small. Keep in mind the shared bathroom - we have luck to be almost alone in the whole house but this was pure luck. The house is old, so don't expect something modern - this is like the house of some old lady. Everywhere there are some notes with directions - what and how to do. I understand - with so many tourists and some of them - not so adequate - this is necessary. But still it is a little annoying.

The rooms were very pretty, we loved the 19th century setting! The area was also very pleasant, we had bars pretty near. The keys in lockbox was a very smart choice too. Very friendly staff.

We didn’t really like the shared bathroom and kitchen, because there were many people who took very long doing their business, and others who rushed us. The pillows were rather uncomfortable because they were very soft. The entrance of the building also had an unpleasant smell.

Good placement and powerful air condition.

Place was old and smelled odd. Power went off from the whole house when tryed to wash clothes. Pretty sure we got bedbugs from this place. Had really hard time getting rid of them. We tryed to contact the host about this but we got fully ignored.

Perfect location, perfect host, and good value for money

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the middle of Venice. The Venice main train station was only 8-10 minutes walking distance. The nearest Water Bus Stop was right infront of the property. The host was always available through Whatsapp. We received all the necessary codes for the doors for check-in before before our stay, so the checkin was smooth without any problem. The big shared kitchen was a blessing, it was equipped with everything one needs and very spacious. The washroom also consist of washing machines. Hopefully, will be staying here again on our next vacation to Venice!

NOT recommend. Worst place I ever stayed for it's money. For 3 persons they giving you 8m2 room, when I was in the prison, it was way more space :) No sockets for charging, air conditioning was not working, for lightning they using lamp.

I would appreciate a separate toilet from the bathroom, because there are 4 rooms and you have to wait like forever to use the toilet when someone is taking the shower in the morning.

our room needed more care, the heating wasn’t working properly and the bed was not comfortable (we had the room in the kitchen), it was small and the blanket and the kitchen equipment were a bit dirty

The staff is good with communication. they message us before the trip to make sure we would have a clearer idea on how to reach the hotel.

just a minor detail. since there’s one common toilet in the floor, maybe it would help if they could put mirrors in each room so guests don’t have to go to the shared toilet to check the mirror.

Not value for money

The bathroom was a lot cleaner than the actual room.

The room was really narrow and cramped, no ceiling light, it had ants, and because there are no staff there were all these combination locks you had to get through just to get in. Lots of narrow stairs to get up. I don't recommend if you have suitcases. I stayed in another much nicer hostel for way less cash.

I slept better in the 30min waterbus ride from Venice to Burano then 2 nights in those beds!

1. The pillows were thin like paper even though we asked for extra ones (we got them after translating Italian to the SOS Line Number, because they did not bother to translate themselves) still not comfortable. 2. The beds were the most uncomfortable twin sizes bed I have ever laid on. I had to push myself to get in the middle and not move bcs I was falling in the middle of the beds! 3. No lights in the outside stairs to get to the property. 4. A lot of dust in the cabinets which had no doors on. 5. The bathroom was a battle itself, 5 rooms using on bath. Had to wait with towels outside to reserve your spot and in the end have not hot shower bcs the boiler was empty… 6. A lot of bugs spray sprayed around the room and not cleaned afterwards. 7. The wall was covered in killed mosquitoes and bugs and not cleaned. 8. Mold everywhere

Everything you need for a short stay in Venice

The room and bathroom were clean and had everything you might need - even a washing machine. The location was premium. You walk 10 min to the train station, 25 min to the Rialto bridge and 5 min to a supermarket. Also Restaurants were just outside the door.

The bed had one mattress that was thin - so you couldn’t lay on the side. Also every time someone closed a door our window shaked loudly.

Localisation.

The hosts do not care at all about the comfort of guests. In the kitchen there were only old pots with scratched toxic Teflon coating. I asked for at least one good pot, explaining that the scratched Teflon coating is very toxic. I got the answer that the hosts would not provide a pot and did not care about the guests' ratings. I spent the whole week. I was only hoping for one pot. Disgusting. I highly do not recommend.

Exceptional

The room was well equipped and comfortable, especially with the small air conditioning unit that was plenty capable of cooling you down after a long day walking the streets, the bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely. Great location, just walk downstairs and you're spoiled for choice of lovely restaurants.

The room was clean, the location was good.

We needed to take the keys from 3 different boxes to enter the room and there was no one to greet use, we didn’t see a single worker during the whole time. There was no fridge to contain your waters which was really hard during a summer trip since the water gets super warm instantly. And the room was so small, we stayed as 3 person in 1 room and two of the beds were a bunk. The room was so hot and the air conditioning didn’t work well. And the most important thing is the bathroom is shared with other rooms and it was hard to find it available.

very little. they had shampoo and conditioner and a fan which was nice

when we arrived the cleaning lady was still there. she was very aggressive and rude with us as we got confused about the check in process as we thought we could check in at 1pm when we arrived but it was only a bag drop and check in was at 3pm. we arrived at 3pm and the cleaning lady was still there and was shouting at us and extremely rude. the room was small and the bed was VERY uncomfortable. the bed had like a dip in it and the mattress was falling down. I attached a pic where you can see with my hand the dip. the room didn’t look like the pictures at all. the bathroom was leaking and water was everywhere too. the property description was not up to standard of what we expected and will not recommend to others as it was a horrible stay
