3 night stay while working nearby

Ideal for my requirements; rural and secluded but conveient access to the A1 nearby. Dunbar close by for all shopping & food requirements. Chalet well equipped and comfortable, with nice outdoor seating for evenings or breakfast outside. Friendly and welcoming host.

Perfect little getaway spot

The chalet is in a wonderful location. Its so peaceful. There's no light pollution at all so the stars at night are a sight to see! When we stayed it was very windy and quite cold but the chalet inside was so warm. The place was very clean with everything needed. A true home from home. In the kitchen there is a large fridge and freezer, plenty of oven dishes/trays, pots and pans and an asda just down the road makes self catering a breeze. The bathroom has a nice powerful shower with plenty of space to move around. 2 bedrooms with lots of space to store things. We were invited to stroll around the farm if we so wished, nothing was really out of bounds. It was a pleasure to meet some cows, horses and a beautiful wee sheepdog. In the surrounding area there is lots to do. Beautiful beaches are just a few minutes away. We are absolutely thrilled to have found this little gem and will definitely be back

The only thing missing were oven gloves and the cutting knives are a little dull. Other than that everything was perfect!

Really Good Experience

Location was fantastic. Close to lots of nice beaches and short drive to Edinburgh. We had a really great stay and it's a really good place for a relaxing break. The host is lovely and very accommodating. The Chalet is a great size and clean and have everything we need. Overall great experience.

The only thing are the bunk beds, but I guess it really depends on who's using them. No problems at all if it's small children, but I stayed with my wife, Mum and youngest brother (17yrs), Mum slept in the bottom bunk but it wobbled a bit when my brother tried to go on the top bunk so he decided to just sleep in the sofa in the lounge.

Lovely chalet in a beautiful location

The chalet was clean and warm enough for the cold February nights. The Chalet is in a lovely scenic location with some nice seaside towns near it and also not too far to visit Edinburgh. The host was very welcoming and let my kids have a walk around the farm to view the lambs. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again in the summer months.

The surrounding is amazing. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the farm as much as we’d like to due to the bad weather. The chalet is surprisingly warm we only need to turn the heater on the lowest setting

The mattresses are quite hard. Our kids are too young for bunk beds so there had been lots of dramas during bedtimes and sleepless nights 🙈

A gem of a find

The location was amazing. The views, the quietness. The owners were very helpful. There were plenty of amenities, WiFi, hairdryer, towels, tea, coffee etc and a big box of biscuits. Very clean and comfortable. I was looking for somewhere to stay to attend a wedding. I happened upon this chalet and if it wasn't already ideal it happened to be a 4 min drive from the wedding venue. Perfect.

Glorious chalet

The Chalet was left in a pristine condition, very clean and tidy, we also had all the amenities and facilities that we needed. The Chalet is situated in the most beautiful setting with lovely picturesque views and walks around the farm. I loved waking each morning and looking out the window to see many cows and the sun rising. The host was extremely friendly. We would definitely visit again. And would love to thank you for contributing to my first trip to Scotland being an amazing one.

All round great experience for a young family. Owner was very welcoming and our 1 year old loved exploring the farm to see the cows and horses. Great views from the chalet and nice outdoor patio area. Chalet was very clean and comfortable. Only a 5 minute drive to Dunbar town centre and various beaches.

Superb

Owners were lovely and so helpful! Not overbearing but popped by a couple of times near the beginning of our stay so we could ask some questions. Very friendly and offered our 4 year old to have a look round the farm and the animals. There were even bikes, scooters and toy tractors for him to ride! The location is fantastic for easy access to lots of family activities nearby.

Main bed mattress was too firm for me, but it's purely a personal preference. My husband loved it!
