Beautiful accessible property: clean and spacious with unbeatable views.

Just come back from an incredible stay at The Chalet and can’t rate it highly enough. The place was spacious, super clean and beautifully decorated. There were lots of accessibility features for disabled guests that had clearly been well thought-through and were much appreciated. The location is INCREDIBLE - views for miles and there was so much to explore in the local area (so many castles!), and it was all so peaceful. Hosts left us a little welcome package on arrival too which was much appreciated. We can’t wait to go back.

Everything it was clean, well equipped and the location was quiet and peaceful just what a city family needs to unwind we will definitely be coming back. The hosts was amazing and accommodating. One lady kept coming along and seeing if all was ok and asking if we needed anything.

Fabulous place and everything accessible

Perfect for my elderly mum - bathroom ideal, electric bed and a riser recliner chair in the stunning living room. Amazing sea views, wonderful bathtub and fabulous kitchen.

Superb !

The Chalet is enormous for 2 persons. The welcoming gift with milk, eggs, bread and cakes was so nice. Kitchen fully equipped. 2 bathrooms of which 1 is a wet-room. Very nice. Breathtaking view towards Dunbar and the North Sea. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Just a little tip : some foldable deck chairs on the deck. So you can move around to sit in the sun. The outdoor table and benches combined was to heavy to move and was in the shade all day this time of year.

Incredible stay. Kids absolutely loved it - they loved visiting the animals and the freedom of running around the field.

A perfect holiday location for all the family.

The property was perfect , spacious,well equiped and very clean. A lovely welcome pack with ground coffee, eggs and lovely bread was there on our arrival. Our hosts were friendly checking everything was ok for us and showing us around the farm, our 3 year old grandson loved feeding the pigs and seeing the animals . He also loved being able to cycle and play in the well tended grass area just in front of the Chalet . Perfect for a kickabout.

We were happy with everything so we have nothing to write here.

Great size and facilities. The location was great, literally just off the A1. Great value for money.

The shower in the master bedroom didn’t work too well but there was a shower in the main bathroom so it didn’t bother us.

Wonderful chalet, great hosts

Working as carers it's often difficult to find suitable accommodation. The Chalet was perfect for all our needs. Expect to be booking The Chalet for many more trips in the future.

There was nothing at that we did not like. Every need was catered for.

Fantastic Adapted Chalet "Holidays for All" in Dunbar

The disability access and equipment was the best we've come across. The Chalet was lovely and well equipped, spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. Kay and her family were very friendly and helpful. Our son had a great time at the nearby "Foxlake" water activity centre where he discovered he loves wake boarding. All in all we had a fantastic few days and will definitely be back. The Chalet is on a working farm and we were lucky enough to be there when there were some calves born. The location was idyllic with views out onto the Firth of Forth, Bass rock and the Isle of May. The property was only a few miles from Dunbar and it's lovely harbour and Belhaven bay.

A perfect spot to explore the area.

We all loved the location. Wonderful views across Dunbar to the sea beyond. Kay provided everything to make our stay comfortable with an additional welcome pack of home-made scones and delicious Scottish biscuits. I booked the chalet as a gift for my son, his partner, my grandson and also my husband. The plan was for the family to be together to make memories. My grandson loved the chalet and the surroundings so much he said he would like to stay forever ..... as long as he could go home and collect his cats! That says it all. Mission complete!

Better weather would have been the icing on the cake.

Warmth, welcome basket, views, cleanliness

Lack of directions to help find the chalet in the dark when arrived late due to storm Eunice. The Satnav took us to the farm and we did not see sign at end of lane on way up hill. Fortunately Janet saved the day.

we hope to return in summer as the weather didn’t help us enjoy much of the local area and scenery.

thank you for having us! very spacious, clean, peaceful place with friendly host. well kitted out and very comfortable beds. a good nights sleep is always an important part of any trip away for me.

those darn outside lights need to be on a movement sensor ! and nothing against the owners personally, but I can’t stand this new culture of 4pm check in (it’s too late) and 10am check out (it’s too early) .. especially when we are expected to strip beds and clean the whole place prior to departing .. with 5 kids with us !
