Cosy and peaceful stay

Really friendly people running the place, and very available if anything was needed (which it wasn't as the pod was so well-appointed!) Underfloor heating made it very cosy and the hot drinks/local milk/snacks was a really nice touch. Nice firm mattress and soft sheets too!

Providing a small bottle of cooking oil would be really helpful, but otherwise everything was great.

Exceptional stay, tremendously relaxing.

This property was exceptional. Every detail was thought of. A binder is provided with every answer to any question you might have, from how to turn on the stovetop to where to go for a walk. Everything in the pod is put there for a reason and the entire feeling is that of comfort and relaxation. Such a lovely and easy time in the pod. Big fridge, spacious bathroom, very user friendly kitchen space. A total gem amongst the cows and sheep!

We arrived in the early evening and the pod was VERY warm, 30'C, as it had been a warm, sunny day and there were no windows open. I understand that for security and to keep the flies out, keeping everything closed up was necessary, but it took a long time for the temperature to reduce inside the pod after we arrived. We decided to not have a fire as we didn't want our clothes to end up smelling like smoke for the duration of our trip, but it was difficult to keep the smoke from the neighbour's campfire out of our pod unless we closed up all the windows and doors, which somewhat diminished the "close to nature" feel.

Pod perfection

We loved our stay at Braeview. There was excellent communication with Morag , and she was prepared to come out at a moments notice in the evening, when we couldn't initially figure something out. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into the facilities within the pod and all the additional items were much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding great quality. The shower room did not disappoint, great shower, lovely toiletries. The bothy onsite was an additional bonus, continuing the thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended.

Relaxing and very comfortable.

The location was peaceful and just a short drive from the area we wanted to explore on foot. The quality of the the pod was excellent inside and out and it was a lovely to return to after a day of long cliff top walking. The owners were friendly and efficient but not obtrusive. The 'Honesty Shop' for a few essentials was a good idea...and they also offer a Swedish Massage!

Perfect couples break away

This place is absolutely perfect if you need a break away from it all. Cozy, has everything you need and more. The heating was super toasty, the shower was excellent, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Kitchen is brilliant and the wifi was even better than what we've got at home! Beautiful view of the night sky, too; very little light pollution so when we got a cloud-free night we got to stargaze from the comfort of our bed. Our host was incredibly friendly too!
