Nicely equipped condo, only criticism would be no padded seats on two of the four chairs around the table outside. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The condo had everything you could wish for. The facilities were very complete and communication with the owner was perfect. We particularly liked the upper pool in the complex with its tropical surroundings. We would be happy to come back anytime.

Lovely Kihei spot; walking distance to great beaches & shops. Set far enough back = little street noise. Lots of birds singing & Maui chickens walzing = smiles. The mstr bd was comfy, shower was nice, & good quality furnishings. Tile floors made sand cleanup easy; inevitable visiting the beach. Plenty of room for our fam of 4, especially w/ a 2nd 3/4 bath. Great living rm AC, meh bdrm AC. Great W/D. Some beach equipment including a small cooler, beach towels, & umbrella. No sand toys, so we donated ours to the unit for future families. As for families, this complex feels more focused on an older crowd. Not that the unit isn't familiy friendly (there's no bathtub or kids' toys/books etc.), but the complex is a bit intimidating for families with energetic kids. The rules are emphatic about no noise or other kid activities. (They explicitly state no balls or playing Marco Polo in the pools.) We felt like we had to helicopter our kiddos to make sure that no one heard them or got splashed in the pool. Other families we met mentioned the same vibe. We witnessed 2 employees in a golf cart welcoming an older couple and stressed that if ANY noise was bothering them, to let them know and they'd personally take care of it. We were never talked to nor had any negative interactions with anyone, but the tone was set for our stay. This is not a reflection of the owners; they were great and we had a wonderful time regardless. Just a heads up for families w/ kiddos that need to run, get their wiggles out, & test their lungs, this complex may not be 100% ideal. That said, beaches are close, & if you're looking for a super kid-friendly pool, the Fairmont Kea Lani 8 min away has an AMAZING family-friendly pool and they have day passes for non-hotel guests. To work from the condo, the internet is ok, not great, & cuts out fairly often. Not sure where the disconnect is, but it impacted our phones, computers, and tv. It was enough of a limitation that we put away our computers and wrote off getting work done, but we were happy about it. A free "concierge" was offered when we arrived, but they called back 3 days later w/ an apology that they were understaffed yet still happy to help book activities. Everywhere is short staffed & we had fun anyway so we weren't bothered at all. Bottom line, we'd come back w/o kids any time. Honeymoon, etc, it's perfect! If we're bringing our little monsters, we'd probably stay elsewhere so we could relax a bit on parenting.
