Our stay in this place was terrible. It reeked of smoke, though it was supposedly a smoke-free place. It wasn’t clean. There were barely any dishes to eat or cook on. The pots were ruined and dangerous. There was nothing comfortable to sit on at all. Off the nearby deck, the views were gorgeous. The nearby beach was spectacular.

The room was dirty when we arrived. It took 4 of us 3 hours to clean. Food on the table top and on the floor. The floors hadn't been swept. We had to clean out the refrigerator before we could use it. There was flour on the front of the cabinet above the refrigerator and on the fridge. The couch was so gross we cleaned it but, put a cover over it. Once everything was clean it was fine. I hope the people who came in after us enjoyed the clean room.

Place was dirty. The 4 of us spent 3 hours cleaning. The floor, tables, refrigerator, pillowcases, couch, stove and bathroom were dirty. To the next people staying in starfish 3 you are welcome!

The location and parking are terrible. The lock on the door didn’t work half the time very dated. Flooring in the houses was either missing or not pushed together so I cut my toe on the wood. No extra garbage bags were left. No cleaning supplies to clean after ourselves before we left. It was in the south end of town so that was nice. And hid from the wind. Beautiful lookout over the balcony.

Despite them coming to clean after we alerted them to some less desirable smells around the place, we discovered that the lock didnt work on the door....We have an autistic 3 year old and were afraid if she was unsupervised for even a second, might slip out.

Cleanliness of unit superb. Mattress in great condition. If these two were any less than described I would have MOVED! I had to call for help with key code lock and the person that helped was prompt cared for my needs. The neighbor a scary guy (starfish2) that people came and went at all hours. I did not go out my unit after dark because they scared me. I used door alarms as if someone could kick open the door.

Everything in this house was slightly broken. The kitchen was under stocked, and there was very limited seating. If you plan on staying and being in this rental during the day, be prepared to be uncomfortable. The window in the bottom of the 2 bed bedroom was broken and tape was the only thing keeping it shut. My toddlers kept opening it and getting outside; we had to put them in the king bedroom to prevent this safety hazard. The house itself was fairly clean you can just tell the owners do not care at all. The curtains are torn up, the furniture is very flimsy, the toilet needs a new seal. The beds were comfortable but everything else is in desperate need of renovation. The price and location is about the only thing we liked about this place.

My husband and I had a great stay! Got lots of sunset pictures from the deck. Best part, so much better than a motel, it was so nice and quiet! No dogs barking, stomping from upstairs, etc. Thank you for a great stay!!

The location is amazing and the unit very cleanly. We had difficulty getting in the unit, but the Vacasa rep was efficient and we gained access quickly. It was frustrating to have the nightly rate double after the VRBO fees were added. I need to be more diligent about reviewing those before I book!!

The key box did NOT work, went in through window!!! Finally got code for physical key, still room not too secure. Fees charged were MORE than actual rental charge,BAD KARMA. Won’t rent here again

The cost of this unit is reasonable, but your expectations must also be on the lower end. I went to use the toilet paper and the holder fell off,it smelled like a dirty dog, it had dog slobber on the bathroom door and bedroom wall. Bring slippers so You don’t hurt your toes on the floor. Also the threshold to the front door fell off. (There are no screws. It really needs a complete overhaul. The kitchen counter was nice,The beds are comfortable, the futon couch was not.

The condo pictures looked great and like a perfect stay for our family of 6 to enjoy. The condo is close to the beach but the beach access was blocked due to construction, so we had to take a detour down to the beach. The check in and out process was easy and uncomplicated and wifi was great. The property lacked in amenities and we did not have enough dishes or towels for all guests. The kitchen supplies were very minimal, can openers were broken and the pans were warped. The space is very small and uncomfortable for a family of 6. The place had broken flooring and quite a few cosmetic issues but did not impact the use. Hindsight, we would have stayed somewhere larger and more accommodating.

This is a cute little condo. It is pretty old, but very cute and right on the beach. It has a kitchen and some things to cook with. No cookie/flat sheet so always check with guest services to see what cooking utensils/cookware are in the room to see what you might need to bring from home or plan meals around the cooking equipment they have.

The door lock is super hard to figure out with the key pad. Every other guest we interacted with had the same problem. Some of the dishes weren’t clean so I would clean them before you use them.

The property was ok, fairly easy access to the beach. One bedroom had giant windows overlooking the main path of the property and did not have curtains. It was nice to be able to have our dog though and no huge fee for him to be with us. It was a perfect spot for our families long weekend

The condo was cozy, it was nice to have a kitchen to cook in. The view from one room was an awesome view of the ocean. I would say it had the easiest access to the beach, but I know other areas to go to the beach in lincoln city, so I wasn't worried about it. I would stay there again.

We had a nice visit at starfish 3. The unit accommodated well for our family of five, with pets. (Three adults and two children. Two dogs). The cleanliness of the property was pretty satisfactory. Stove, counters and fridge were clean and ready for use. Some cobwebs in the bathroom and other corners of the unit can easily be tidied up by the cleaning crew 🙂 Beds were neat and tidy and comfortable. For it being pet friendly, we appreciated the unit not smelling of other animals. It was nice to be able to walk down just a few steps to let our dogs out to go potty. And just a little walk further to the beach was a nice adventure! We appreciated the dog extra bowls that were available, as well. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with the necessary utensils needed to function- aside from no baking sheet or pot holders that we could see. We did bring our own cast iron skillet so that worked well for us 😊 Thank you again so much for the stay! We will come back to visit again! 😃

This stay was for our anniversary and on paper this place seemed perfect: Large and near the beach. In practice, it was pretty much just "average." First, we struggled to crack the code to get inside as the "lock" was a touch old, but more importantly, the code was WAY too long to type in before a problem glitched it. We did get in and the space had two rooms, a kitchen, a sitting area, and of course, a restroom. Also, the beach was very much within walking distance, so for those attributes, I could put up with the complex entrance. Even though I should have taken notes on the location, it is a drab space between two Lincoln City hotter spots. Being between means we had no real aesthetic touches...just a busy highway and lots of vacation rentals surrounding us. So I started having a bit of a negative vibe, as did my wife. While the basics were covered well, there were no "touches" that made this place memorable. The interior wasn't awful, but it just had a dated look. At this point, we just didn't feel like we were on a vacation date...more like a business stay that we had to endure. What really made my view turn to the negative was outside the windows: Super-bright lights wove through the blinds and made it appear as though daybreak were near. That made it really hard to sleep and made us both edgy by morning (Hint: That unit definitely needs blackout curtains!). Overall, for the money, you get a good deal, but if you want a touch of romance, look elsewhere.

Communication was horrible with these people. I wasn’t able to get into my rental for hours!!! Had to stay in my car with my disabled mother, the door code didn’t work upon arrival, no one called me or reached out to me until 6am the next morning, not enough toilet paper for 3day stay, the room had ants in it, no one onsite to ask for help at all!! The people on the phone were rude and had no empathy for me and my mom staying in the car till 6am the next morning.

Place was clean but many issues with lamps, there were nails stick up out of the floor to the room with 2 beds lights didn’t work. Over the place needs to be fixed up a bit.
