About this villa rental
Set back on a quiet residential road on the hill overlooking Playa Hermosa beach and the jungle with far reaching mountain views, Villa Komodo offers everything to ensure a memorable and comfortable stay.
Three spacious bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms.
The upstairs master suite has a king size bed and a sofa bed in the living area. You can enjoy the jungle views on one side and the ocean view from another. The master bathroom suite offers a bathtub, double sinks and glass shower to enjoy the jungle.
The other upstairs bedroom has two twin beds with huge open shower room. Ocean and mountain views. The beds can be pushed together to make a king size if necessary. There is also a pull out bed under one of the twin beds for one other person.
The downstairs bedroom has a large double bed (1.8mx2m) with shower room and walk in closet.
All the bedrooms offer air conditioning, luxury cotton sheets and towels, imported Italian ceramics and furniture from all around the world.
The main open plan living area has a fully fitted kitchen with full appliances including large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, five hobs and stocked full of equipment to serve a dinner party for twelve.
Separate utility room for storage and washer and dryer.
Inside dining area for six with upholstered chairs. Custom made large L shaped sofa facing flat screen TV with Sky TV.
This area leads out to the huge covered patio with further seating area and locally made 3m wooden dining table with seating for twelve. Amazing space for entertaining and simply enjoying the outdoors whilst being covered by the sun (or rain!).
The patio overlooks the 10mx3.5m swimming pool plus entrance steps and children's play area/lounge area. One one end boasts a gorgeous Balinese pool house with mattress and cushions from India to relax and unwind.
The house is beautifully furnished with an array of different styles from local Costa Rican woods, Balinese furniture, Mexican tapestries, Indian cushions, African artefacts and many more!
The house has wifi throughout.
Ample parking at the rear of the house. We can help arrange car/quad/buggy rentals and assist with booking many local activities from surf lessons to horse back riding to fishing tours.
The area offers a huge selection of delicious international cuisine. We have an in house folder with all the best local options available.

This property is perfect in every way - being my first trip to this region, I was a little concerned that we were going to be too far away from the action in Santa Teresa, however that is just not the case. Not only is it a short five min drive, but we actually loved being away from the hustle and bustle of ST and are even looking at property here in Hermosa now.
The owners of the home were very helpful with any requests we had, and the cleaner Giselle keeps the place immaculate at all times.
Would definitely rent again! Thank you for such a lovely and memorable stay Villa Komodo! 💙

The house is beautiful and surrounded by the jungle, the decoration is very tasteful! We had a great time by the pool, watching the colorful birds and hearing the monkeys. You have absolutely everything you need and the house is perfectly clean! Scarlet and her husband are really kind and make sure everything is right. We do recommend a 4x4 car since the road in Santa Teresa isn’t finished.

We had a lovely time in Santa Teresa. The house is decorated with great taste. It is a pitty we didn't spend much time in it since we went to the beach the whole day. The hosts were great and attended to all our needs with a great attitude. We'll definitely come back.
