Rockfig Lodge Madikwe

We had a wonderful stay at Rockfig Lodge. The whole team was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive, and they made our honeymoon truly special. The private honeymoon dinner they arranged for us was a beautiful surprise and a very memorable experience. The safari was fantastic. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, passionate and excellent at spotting wildlife. We saw so many different animals during our game drives and had an incredible experience. We also loved how baby-friendly the lodge is. Travelling with our two-year-old was easy and comfortable, and everyone was wonderful with him. The lodge is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. We leave with amazing memories and would absolutely recommend Rockfig Lodge to both couples and families. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special! ❤️

The staff are friendly and warm. They are always there to make sure we are safe. The place is clean and well-kept. Our guide, Pride, is excellent and very knowledgeable. He has taken well care of us during all the game drives and he makes sure we get to see as many animals as possible. It's a pity that we are unable to see the elusive leopards, however, Pride is able to point out to us the prey the leopards left on the trees and he makes sure that we get as much information as possible.

The lighting at the dining area is a little dim at night. Food selection is a little limited, however, the quality is fine.

Absolutely amazing so beautiful and clean and the view was lovely. Having the Hide was fantastic and we saw some really cool animals up close.

Everything was perfect

The chalets are well laid out and each unit very private. Our chalet was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, even though we did not make use of all the facilities. The view from the veranda is amazing and relaxing. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The chef was superb, producing marvelous meals. Our ranger was friendly and knowledgeable, which resulted in some amazing sights. Not only the big five, but a number of other animals and birds which is often overlooked.

Nothing about the lodge, just that we had too little time there :(
