About this apartment rental

Wonderful condo located in an ocean-front property just minutes from downtown Kona. The condo features tile floors, fully remodeled kitchen, a brand new split-system AC, remodeled full bathroom with step-in shower, recently replaced queen Murphy fold-up bed, plenty of seating in the living area and bar, flat screen TV with Free Wi-Fi, and a gorgeous newly landscaped lanai with sitting and dining area. This complex boasts an ocean-front pool with a shared cabana that has seating, public bathrooms, and a lava rock grill. Perfect to hang out, watch gorgeous sunsets, and have a great meal. There is also free assigned parking for each unit (very close) and laundry facilities are just steps away from this unit.

Would definitely stay again.To the lady who complained that we backed our car into the parking stall…mind your own business. Myrna, thank you for all your help. This cozy condo is tastefully decorated and the kitchen and bath were recently remodeled. The Murphy bed allows a roomy feel to this studio, along with a lovely lanai. The ocean front pool is a popular meeting place especially at sunset. We thoroughly enjoy this condo and the host is wonderful. We can’t wait to come back

This is a super well equipped small unit, perfect for one or two people. What we liked: 1)unit is attractive, well designed , well cared for; 2) loved all the beach equipment that was available to use( we used a cooler, beach bag, and chairs everyday as we headed out) .3) location: within walking distance to downtown and a perfect location to head south to beaches. What we didn’t like: 1)the darkness of the unit and lack of spot to sit in sunlight without having to walk a half block to the community area. We basically used the patio as our sitting spot. When we in the unit, we used the patio for our sitting area because it was outdoors .2)the noise from upstairs unit. You can hear people walking around/ taking shower. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it was a small nuisance… Overall this is a great unit, priced affordable for this area. Perfect spot for a base for exploring the area., which is what most of us do while we’re visiting.

Myrna was very responsive before and during our stay and especially when our flights were changed at short notice a couple of times. She also kindly altered our fees. She was also helpful when we had some urgent parcels delivered. It was very clean with concise instructions. Place is exactly as described and photos.

Clean, comfortable (including bed), nicely equipped studio condo. The small lanai and nearby condo pool were lovely. Some noise from a heavy walker in the unit above but otherwise quiet. One issue with figuring out how to turn on the AC was quickly resolved (hint: must hold the AC power button down on the remote for several seconds to activate). Overall, definite thumbs up!

Sweet Studio Condo on the water in Kona. The Lanai was very private, and lush. Everything you could want for water toys/supplies was there for my use. Myrna graciously allowed me to stay for late checkout for a late flight. The location was perfect. Highly recommend Green Flash Coffee/smoothie Place right next door! I was there for a wedding, but when I was alone, I had a great time too.....I could walk to Beach, Market, Coffee House...and the pool has a great water view. I highly recommend Kona Shores, and Sweet Myrna!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Myrna's condo. It was Just Right for the two of us. Well stocked with everthing we needed and more! Beautiful location with a sunset view that was awesome. We were able to easily make day trips to every part of the island with easy access to all the major highways. It seemed like everything was brand new, range, microwave, AC, bathroom and more. We are frequent visitors to the Big Island. This rental was a very clean and organized ground floor unit with murphy bed. Loved the lanai but wife says timer is broken on the fountain. Single towel rack in bath is for decorative towel, so there is a need for towel hooks on the back of the bathroom door or towel rack on either side of the mirror, or at least a towel basket with rolled up towels on the toilet tank lid. AC was great, lots of lighting, but a couple of CFLs could be updated to LED. Kitchen was everything we needed. Pool was great, with great sunset views. No USB ports, but we came prepared. Minor issue, but I would recommend the style of hotel lamps with USB/AC ports in the base. Overall, we loved this place and would forward to coming back.
