About this house rental
Wake up to beautiful views of the lake and enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious covered porch. Just a 3minute drive from I-81, this property is on the north side of the lake and very easy to get to. A big plus is shopping and restaurants only a few minutes away. New for 2026, an outside two person hot tub for your use,
This property was our primary residence for 17 years. We now live in a home on an adjoining property, so we are close by. The property is at the end of a private drive that is well maintained and is very secluded but sits directly on the lake. We currently have two bedrooms ready to rent and a sleeping loft over the living room. It can sleep 6 people. There are three full bath rooms and a 1/2 bath in the laundry room.
The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there is an outside grill for cook-outs. The living room dining room and kitchen are an open floor plan along with the upstairs loft. All living spaces have a wonderful view of the lake. There is a wrap around porch that over looks the lake, drive, and the woods around the house. There is also a gazebo with a swing. The top of the boat house and the floating dock come with the rental. There is a cement drive with a basketball backstop and a horse shoe pit.
A handmade one of a kind spiral staircase leads to a sleeping loft which has a full size futon and full bathroom. There is a full size pull-out sofa in the downstairs living area. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed with a private bathroom. There is also, a playpen for your convenience.

What a beautiful dream stay! Steve was so kind he called us when we didn't come in when expected, due to missing a connecting flight. But, this serial, calm, home and property on the lake brought us back into peace and an enjoyable trip. Definitely will come stay here again with the whole family!

Steven and Laurie are wonderful hosts and their house is amazing. It is homey and comfortable and the location is absolute perfection. The entire living area looks out over the lake and the lake itself is SPLENDID. The house is in a quiet cove… perfect for swimming and jumping off the 2 story dock. Perfect for fishing. Perfect launching point for SUPS (which Mountain2Island will deliver). We had some great family time in this house playing in the lake and playing games at night. The internet connection is not the best but we really loved that part since our kids were forced to talk to us for 3 entire days. Steven lives nearby and when light tripped the breaker and the AC went out came right away to diagnose the problem. It was a big strike! We actually would have been fine with no AC because the nights were cool even in mid August, but we appreciated his response!! He and Laurie even brought down a delicious cheesecake. Not sure it gets any better than this place.
