About this apartment rental
We would like to welcome you to our home away from home. Here you will enjoy all the comforts of home it a tropical island paradise. Our condo is the largest floor plan in the building and has been remodeled with granite kitchen countertop, new appliances, flat screen tvs, and tile floor. The bathrooms were newly remodeled in 2020. Free wifi and cable is available if you need to stay in touch with world. The property has a pool and jacuzzi, as well as a bbq/picnic area, and a boat dock. Our unit is on the 5th floor and has a stunning panoramic bay view from every window with incredible sunsets. Summer fireworks shows can be seen from the balcony. If you are a kiteboarder or windsurfer, you can check the wind conditions before you go out by simply looking out the window. The unit is walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. A car is preferred although the island provides free bus service.
The master bedroom is large with a walk in closet and attached bathroom. The guest bedroom is roomy and has a keyboard for our musical guests and also has an attached bathroom. Both bedrooms have brand new mattresses. The unit has a washer/dryer which is nice for those who stay for several days. There is a living room sleeper sofa for 2 additional guests. The living room has a brand new sofa and loveseat.

Almost everything you need is walking distance from the condo. Blocks to windsurfing launch and a tick over a mile to the flats kiteboarding area. The sunsets on the deck can't be beat and you can catch dinner from the dock.

The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our getaway. It matched the VRBO description so there were no surprises. The couch and loveseat were very comfortable - we sat there in the evenings and planned our days. The pool and grounds were clean and well kept. We swam and used the hot tub almost daily. From the balcony we could watch boaters, jet skis, kite boarders, pelicans and seagulls on the water … very relaxing. We spent an entire month enjoying South Padre Island and feel the condo fit our needs perfectly!

Overall this was quite a nice experience. The condo is a great size with fantastic views. This stay beats our previous experiences at SPI simply because of the condo. Will definitely look to book again.
