2 Story Island Vacation House built in 1997. 3 bedroom/2 bath. Sleeps up to 10 people. Nicely decorated.
Upstairs 1st bedroom has a queen bed. 2nd bedroom has a queen & twin beds. Bathroom adjoins the 2 bedrooms & entry from the great room. Living room has a sofa sleeper, best suitable for a child/teen.
Downstairs has a large bedroom with 2 full beds & a futon. Futon best of children. 2nd bathroom is in bedroom. Downstairs living area has a day bed, best suitable for a child/teen.
Fenced-in backyard and secure windsurf/kite board equipment racks on back patio. Garage has can be used by renters for equipment safekeeping.
Quiet location 300 yards down the street from the bayside water where there are benches for sunset viewing.
1-3 blocks of 3 of SPI’s premier windsurf/kite board shops which offer lessons and rent excellent equipment.
2 blocks from Gulf beach.
Walking distance to convenience store and great restaurants!
Less than 1 mile from SPI Birding & Nature Center.
1 mile to the famous Clayton’s Beach Bar, 5 blocks from Wanna Wanna Beach Bar.
Owners live in house next door for great service and island advice.

The property was clean and very spacious. We had a lot of room and I'm one that likes to entertain and feed my family. I was comfortably able to do that. It waa nice having the owner right next door. We will be booking with her again.

I want to preface this by saying Arleen and her husband are very nice and attentive people.
Apparently there is a limitation of 1500 characters!
The owner lives next door and insist on giving you a tour of the house to show you what light switch does what. I'd prefer to be contactless and relax after the drive. The couches are very old and worn out... feels like you are sitting on springs. Arleen showed us blankets to put over the couches since we had our dogs during the tour.
The kitchen utensils are worn out and cheap. Broken wooden handles on the knives, etc. Glasses that were removed from the cabinets were sticky. We hand washed everything before using it after that.
We rented the place for the backyard. It was almost a foot tall and the shrubbery was overgrown. We, and our pups, were swarmed by mosquitos in the backyard.
Arleen had it cut the following afternoon after we requested it, and had her husband bring over a fogger which helped. With the money that we spent to have that option, it should have been done prior to our arrival. The TV was very small and the dish network didn't work when we got there. The mattresses were also very worn and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving after two nights despite paying for three nights.
