About this apartment rental
This beautiful OCEAN/POOL view unit is situated in the best location of the complex, where you wake up to a calm morning light from Haleakala and enjoy a sip of your favorite drinks on lanai during the gorgeous sunsets. A communal laundry facility and the pool are only steps away. The room is bright and airy with wall mirrors and extra corner windows that provide excellent ventilation. A wall-mounted AC in the living and a portable AC in the bedroom. You may appreciate ACs when trade wind dies down although the unit usually catches wind throughout the day.
The unit has a fully-equipped kitchen, a well-appointed living /dining area with a convertible Q-size sofa, a King-size bed in the bedroom. The lanai has a dining table with two chairs and one lounge chair. There are 42" TV in the living, 32" in the bedroom, both are Fire Edition with Amazon Prime Video and Netflix for occasional rainy days in Kihei.
This complex is just across from Kamaole II, 200 yrd from the unit, one of the best swimming and snorkeling beaches in the south Maui area. If you are a paddler, this beach provides an excellent entry point. This beach is connected to a breathtaking beach trail that takes you down to Wailea, onto Polo beach (about 3 hours round trip.) There are several good restaurants, a health food store, general stores such as ABC, activities store within a short walking distance.
The complex has a quiet time rule after 10 P.M. for every guest’s comfort. The night is pin-drop quiet until 6 A.M. precisely when island birds start tweeting.

Clear and easy instructions. Well appointed kitchen with sharp knives and good pans. Perfect view and access to pool and beach and sea breezes. Beach chairs umbrella and cooler all provided and a convenient location with a clean apartment. Far enough from the beach to not hear the road noise but close enough to be the most convenient bathroom when on the sand.

We stayed here for 6 weeks and I worked remotely. The location in Kihei and stocked condo were things we enjoyed. We could see the sunset on the water everyday from the condo and it was stunning. Also, the pool was cleaned everyday so it was always pristine. However, the listing did not indicate there would be construction in the laundy area. The construction noise interfered with my work and we had to drive to a laundy facility to do our laundry. Construction finally ended 4 days before we left. Construction should have been indicted on the listing.
There was also a cockroach issue. I spoke with the owner and she helped arrange an appointment with Pest Control. After that, we didn't see anymore cockraoches. She offered to have us stay at another one of her rentals but it was on another island. She also offered to refund the rest of our stay if we wanted to leave, but I hurt my back and it was close to the end of our stay so it was too much of a hassle to change locations at that point. I was grateful she was responsive. I would have given this rental 5 stars if it wasn't for the issues listed above.
