Blackhawk Creek LLC is a recently renovated farm home built in 1896. Some rooms have the original hardwood floors and there is oak trim throughout the house, adding to its country charm. There are four bedrooms in this spacious two story home with a full kitchen, large living room and dining room. The home is nestled in the hills between Ferdinand and Santa Claus (less than 7 miles from Holiday World and Splashin' Safari) with convenient access. Large shade trees, a gazebo and gas grill are great for picnics and watching sunrises and sunsets. The home is on a working farm and is great for families. You will be in the country and experience the sights and sounds of nature, including cows and sheep. You may also see deer and wild turkeys.

The property was perfect for our family gathering! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms had plenty of linens and the house was clean and ready when we arrived at check-in. CVS and the Dollar General were close by to pick up anything that we needed. Thank you for having a lovely place to gather!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. It was a beautiful farm house set on a wonderful working farm. We were able to sit outside under a cover gazebo or by the firepit at night (wood provided) and take in the amazing sights. The beds/rooms were just as described and very spacious. 2 were on main level and two upstairs. We had everything we needed to cook/grill meals and grocery store was very close. Plenty of clean towels for showering. It was all very perfect. There was even a calf born or first morning. We would for sure stay here again. We went to Holiday World, a cave and Louisville while staying here. The owners were very responsive, kind, and even understanding. I am proud they allowed us to stay in their home. This home truly accommodated 14 people for sleeping, eating, and entertaining.
