About this farm stay rental

Blackhawk Creek LLC is a recently renovated farm home built in 1896. Some rooms have the original hardwood floors and there is oak trim throughout the house, adding to its country charm. There are four bedrooms in this spacious two story home with a full kitchen, large living room and dining room. The home is nestled in the hills between Ferdinand and Santa Claus (less than 7 miles from Holiday World and Splashin' Safari) with convenient access. Large shade trees, a gazebo and gas grill are great for picnics and watching sunrises and sunsets. The home is on a working farm and is great for families. You will be in the country and experience the sights and sounds of nature, including cows and sheep. You may also see deer and wild turkeys.

After a day at Holiday World, antiquing, golfing or sightseeing, the beautiful, tranquil setting of Blackhawk Creek is a great place to unwind. Blackhawk Creek is a wonderful place to make memories.

Could not of had a better experience. Location was incredible for Holiday World. We had no need for anything. One of the best spors weve ever stayed. Accommodated 10 people comfortably. We loved gazebo with the grill. All tv worked. Especially enjoyed the privacy, while waking up to cows

This old family farmhouse is immaculate! Smack dab in the middle of a working cattle farm. Our party of 9 adults and side by sides had plenty of room including trailer parking. Close to Interlake Offroad Rec Area which was the reason for our visit. Be sure to have dinner at Mama T’s Italian Steakhouse! Scenic, peaceful, super clean and great communication with our host. Top notch rental!

It's an adorable farm house with plenty of space & beds for large familes. We had 8 in our group & plenty of table space & beds. The property is quite, peaceful, & beautiful. There are cows near by, but caused no problems & enjoyed watching them daily.

We love this place. Its only 10 minutes to Holiday World & 15-20 minutes to several restaurants. The house was clean, strong WIFI & modern TV's with a YouTube TV subscription. The appliances are modern & in good order

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. We got lost & Gloria was super nice to help us get there & then proceeded to tell us the easy way to go back & forth. Gloria was wonderful to work with & the place was perfect for our group. Interestingly, my daughter & her family live on a family farm & felt right at home. The packet of information includes restaurants in the area. We were only 15 minutes from Holiday World when we followed Gloria’s instructions! 😉🙄😂I highly recommend this place!

The view and the property were so peaceful, it was fun to watch the cows roaming through the pastures, and explaining farm life to our grandkids. It was a close easy drive to Holiday world, which was wonderful at the end of the day when we were very tired and had 6 small children that needed to get back and go to bed. We also enjoyed playing lots of games that were there at the house for our use. We also appreciated comfortable beds.

This house was built in 1896 and it still has all the charm, yet fully updated. From the floors, to the appliances, windows, doors and everything in between. The owners were very responsive when I had questions. The porch & gazebo were excellent for watching the cows, sheep, and other farm animals. The front faces the sunrises and the rear faces the sunsets. Ample table room for everyone to sit around in the kitchen. We were all extremely happy with every aspect of this house rental. The farm land was an awesome backdrop to everything we did and the house itself was very comfortable and didn't lack for anything. We will definitely be making this a yearly retreat for our family for as long as we can.

We had a nice stay at the farmhouse with our group of 11. The house has plenty of space and beds, and we all enjoyed seeing the cows grazing. It was a short drive to Holiday World. Great time!

The farmhouse is spotless and well supplied. Just a beautiful setting. Lots of sleeping options. Don’t have one negative to say——except for both bathrooms being on the first floor which makes it tough for a bunch of 68 year old bladders staying on the second floor!! No worries.

This is a beautiful house set on a working farm. It was an idyllic location with awe inspiring views. We got a little confused as to where the house was located. I texted the owner who immediately called me and directed me to the correct spot. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. All of my group loved our stay.
