About this house rental
Etoile de Mer is surrounded by palm trees on an acre of land on Sunset Bay one of the islands prettiest beaches and known for its privacy. Custom designed to catch the leeward breezes which gently waft through the house, Etoile de Mer feels more like a lovely home, not a rental. Divide your time between the beach, just steps away, and the large fresh water pool, gazebo and deck at Etoile. The gentle tides of Sunset Bay offer on opportunity to wade, swim, snorkel or kayak. The fine white sands bid you to take long walks or sit and watch the sunset.
This vacation villa is three floors: The ground floor is a self-contained apartment with its own exterior entrance (as well as an interior staircase to the upper level), living room, bedroom and full bath.
The Main floor on the pool and deck level has a spacious living room with ceiling fans, large kitchen, screened in porch, two bedrooms, two full baths and a wrap-around veranda.
The upper level has the master suite with a balcony overlooking the bay, sunken bathtub, bathroom and a large two headed shower. All the charm of a luxury Caribbean vacation home is to be found at Etoile de Mer.

Additional/Optional Sleeping Areas: 3-bedroom main plus 1-bedroom apartment.

Etoile de Mer was delightful! We found the home clean, well-equipped, spacious. The outdoor space was wonderful; the pool, very clean. The home felt very private as it was surrounded by both manicured and wild greenery. It was an easy 5 minute walk to Taylor Beach- so perfect for our group that included young children. Sparkling clear, warm, shallow water-one could walk out maybe 100 yards and still be knee-deep. Beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, paddle boards, kayaks, beach towels all provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief time here!

Our stay at this beautiful home in Turks and Caicos was nothing short of magical! We came to celebrate several special milestones—our son’s engagement on the beach, a babymoon for our other son and daughter-in-law, and our twin sons’ 29th birthdays. It was the perfect setting for such meaningful moments.The house was everything we expected and more—immaculately clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and thoughtfully laid out. The gathering spaces were lovely, both indoors and out, allowing us to enjoy time together while soaking in the island’s beauty. We especially loved the gentle ocean breezes and peaceful ambiance throughout the property.Thank you for providing such a warm and welcoming home. We made memories here that we will treasure forever!

Our stay at Villa Etoille was wonderful. Taylor Bay beach is a small, calm cove that was uncrowded and stunningly beautiful. It was a short 5 minute walk (though I will agree with other reviewers that the kayak/paddle boards were a pain to haul out there.) The water was perfect for our 2 year old to wade around in his life jacket without him being knocked down. We saw sea turtles, rays, and starfish in the crystal clear water.The layout of the house is spacious, with lots of living space. The porch space was amazing- lots of outdoor living. It was a great house for our family to reconnect- we had 6 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen is very well stocked- we cooked several nights. We did not use the AC during our stay as the screened windows provided an amazing breeze through the house. The pool and gazebo were lovely- the kids loved to swim while the grown ups got to relax. And the porch also provides some great lizard watching for the kids. There are only a few options for restaurants nearby- We ate at Las Brisas which is a very short drive, as well as Omar’s which is about 15 minutes away. We had good experiences at both restaurants. The rental company was easy to communicate with, though we had no problems. We used Omnicare Medical for our Covid testing- they came to the villa to do testing and returned with hard copies for our travel. I would highly recommend using them if you travel during these crazy times. I would also note that everyone on the island was very conscientious about Covid- masks were required everywhere. We felt very safe.
