The location is perfect! 2 blocks to the main street, a couple more to the river, the house was amazing for the 8 of us! It had everything we needed,it was clean, beds were comfy, game room was great for the teenagers, backyard wonderful for the evening, we loved everything about it. We highly recommend staying here.

It’s perfectly fine but not quite as good as advertised.
The property was instant-booked through Vrbo but then a third-party property management service (who was not the person I booked with in the app) withheld checkin information until I signed a third-party agreement outside Vrbo. SKETCHY. And when I called them out on this, they insisted they’ve done this for over 20 years and no one else had a problem with it, implying I shouldn’t either. Even sketchier.
There’s lots of cute rustic-chic parts of the property, like string lights in the backyard, artwork in the dining room, and backyard seating gathered around an upturned barrel coffee table.
But these details don’t cover up the larger problems with the property. For example, the property listing says it has AC but it only has one or two window AC units and a bunch of fans—that’s not the same thing. Additionally, the downstairs bedroom has three beds but no bedside tables and the downstairs bathroom has a full shower but no space for shower toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc).
