About this cabin rental

Whether you plan to ski, hike, or check out all the attractions of downtown Gatlinburg, you’ll find Sweet Blessings an ideal home base. The two-bedroom chalet-style cabin, which sleeps six guests, is perched among the Smoky Mountains in the Chalet Village community. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, and downtown are all within a 10-minute drive. What’s more, from the cabin’s spacious wraparound deck you’ll have views of lush woodlands and the mountains themselves.

Sweet Blessings’ setting is nothing short of spectacular. Fortunately, the deck is furnished so that you can spend hours outdoors. Enjoy breakfast at the picnic table while wrens and warblers greet the day, then sip a nightcap under the stars while ensconced in one of the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The vistas are so glorious and the surroundings so serene, you’ll find it hard to believe just how close you are to everything from mountain coasters to restaurants.

The cabin’s interior is just as restful. The wood-planked cathedral ceiling gives the great room an airy, welcoming vibe, which is enhanced in winter by the golden glow of the fireplace. Once you sink into the plush sofa or one of the two roomy recliners, you might never want to get back up. Luckily there’s a flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player to keep you entertained, along with free Wi-Fi.

When it comes to dining, you have numerous options. Scores of restaurants, offering everything from seafood to Italian to fondue, are just a short drive away. You can also dine either on the deck or in the great room’s dining area. Four people can comfortably sit at the round dining table, and two more can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re hosting a holiday feast or whipping up margaritas to enjoy by moonlight.

Each of Sweet Blessings’ two bedrooms includes a log-frame queen-size bed. One bedroom is on the main floor, while the second is tucked up in the loft. Having the bedrooms on separate floors allows for additional privacy. If you have extra guests, you can open the great room’s sofa, it converts to a queen-size bed.

Along with two bedrooms, Sweet Blessings has two bathrooms. You’ll be able to indulge in a long, pampering shower without worrying about a line forming on the other side of the door. Nor do you have to worry about bringing towels or linens. You’ll arrive to find plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms, the beds impeccably made up, and extra bedding ready and waiting. If you want to start your vacation with a shower or a nap, you can.

Chances are you won’t want to spend too much time sleeping, however. There’s simply too much fun to be had nearby! If you stay at Sweet Blessings in the summer, you’ll have free access to Chalet Village’s outdoor swimming pool. A visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must. You can discover its wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls on foot, on bike, on horseback or by car. Also close by is Ober Gatlinburg, where you can ski and snowboard its slopes in winter and enjoy rides, ice-skating and a wildlife exhibit year-round. The attractions of downtown Gatlinburg include the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, mini golf and arcades. Also nearby are the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster and the Wild Bear Falls indoor water park.

No matter how you spend your day, you’ll love returning to the quiet, calm, and natural beauty of Sweet Blessings afterward. Book your stay today and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

*Please Note: Due to the mountainous terrain of the Smoky Mountains and the surrounding area, guests are required to arrive in a high-profile vehicle equipped with All-Wheel Drive or Four-Wheel Drive during the winter season and strongly recommended to do so year-round. Access roads leading to some of our properties may include narrow roads, gravel, and/or paved surfaces, and steep grades.*

Property needs a lots of upgrades. One of toilets was leaking and we contacted management but they didn't do nothing about it.

We had to leave early because septic hadn’t been pumped and entire house smelled like you know what. Property was on very steep drive. While they did RECOMMEND 4wd in description they should have required. If there was even a sprinkling of rain tires would have been spinning. Also the “ well stocked kitchen” was a joke. It was beyond basic and missing all kinds of items that would expect to fall into the “ well stocked “ category. Would definitely not consider returning

Overall this place was very disappointing. The code wouldn't work on the door at check in which took an hour to get someone on the phone. The toilets wouldn't work and keep backing up. They sent someone out to look and he said he would fix it next week. We were only there 2 nights. I explained all of this to the office but they did nothing. Oh and the 30' ladder that was in the walk way outside of the door was a nice touch.

Not happy with this experience and would never stay here again. The only positive thing was the check in process. When we walked in, it smelled musty and dirty. The downstairs bedroom smelled so bad we had to hold our noses! There should be something listed about the long winding stairs from the car to the entrance, carrying luggage and groceries, for people with mobility issues. Heaven forbid if you happened to be in a wheelchair! There was a notebook in the living room however, the information included was more about not feeding bears and recommending local business than information about the cabin! There was absolutely NO information about operating the 3 TVs each having multiple remotes. I called the maintenance number about the smell and the TVs. I was told they would send someone out but couldn't provide even an approximate time! Who wants to spend their day inside waiting on maintenance with no idea how long it would be, while on their vacation? Trying to watch tv was so difficult and that's all you have to do when sitting in the cabin. The most upsetting thing was that I told them never mind about coming out because I didn't want to waste my day waiting on someone. I reiterated more than once that I did NOT want them to come out with me not there because I needed someone to physically show me how to operate all the TVs! When we got back for the day there was a note hanging on the doorknob that said they had been there and sprayed for the smell!

Nice and cozy cottage in the smoky mountains. great views from the deck. The main floor bed could be upgraded/replaced as it is sagging in the middle. Could use a K-cup coffee maker, did have a coffee make, but since my wife was the only one drinking coffee, had to throw out almost a whole pot, daily. Short travel to town.

Horrible!! Dont stay here! Upon arrival we found a dead bat in the living room floor, hundreds of dead ants in kitchen, & bathtub full of spiders! The place was very run down! When we complained that we weren't staying, we were told a technician had to come verify the dead bat, & bugs. Also asked us to send pics, which we did. We were told we would be refunded right then but the next week we were told it would be 7-14 days! (We did get refunded after complaining about how long it would take) This home is very old & rundown & needs a lot of work! The pics must be 10 yrs old!

I’m trying to get my refund since we couldn’t get because of the door code won’t open and the property wasn’t not ready for us tried to get a hold of the management no answer. Kids got scared waiting on the dark it was aweful had to find a new place for us to spend the day out vacation was ruined .

From the afternoon of our arrival it was constant issues including finding drugs in our cabin!! The only thing that was positive was my communication with the property manager. So many maintenance concerns on this rental that is nothing short of neglect which is sad because it is such a nice cabin and the location is perfect. We will ever book this cabin again? NO!!
