About this apartment rental

This condo is on a high mountain pass overlooking Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort. Yet it is within the Gatlinburg city limits and downtown is just a quick 8 minute drive. The neighborhood is very peaceful with a few homes around the condo but spaced well apart for privacy. There is lots of parking and the easy access into our 2 bedroom condo on the bottom floor.

The condo is fully stocked with everything you need. The living area has a large stone fireplace with a 50” LED TV above it with access to free Netflix and free cable. A very comfortable sofa and loveseat make up the living area with french doors leading out to the deck. The kitchen is super convenient with stainless steel stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. All your cook ware and utensils are provided. We also provide a full service set for 6 people, lots of kitchen accessories, along with a coffeemaker, blender and toaster. In between the kitchen and living area is a dining area with seating for 6. All the floors outside of the bedrooms are hardwood laminate.

Our bedrooms are so comfortable, the master bedroom has a king size bed looking out onto the deck through french doors. Across from the bed is another 50” LED TV. Yes, a 50” TV even in the bedroom ! Off the master bedroom, the master bath features a deep 2 person Jacuzzi therapeutic jetted whirlpool with 15 jets. The guest bedroom also has a king size bed along with yet another 50” LED TV. A second full size bath services this bedroom.

Perhaps the best space in the entire condo is the oversized all weather deck. This 300 square foot deck features a seating area for 4 protected from rain and sun and then a sun area with rocking chairs. We have also located an electric BBQ grill that requires no charcoal or propane ! You may very well spend most of your stay with us right out on our deck !

Next door to the condo is one of the homeowner association club houses and pool. It is just a 30 second walk and is a great place to spend sunny summer afternoons with the kids.

Please note, our unit is below the parking area grade. Four sections of stairs lead you down to the front door.

This was a great property, very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg, hiking trails and literally 5 minutes from Ober Mountain, with scenic views on the drive in either direction. The condo was a perfect size for our small family of 3. The clubhouse and pool on property was great for entertainment during downtimes.

BEAUTIFUL CONDO! Host, Steven, was an absolute pleasure to rent from. We have never had such wonderful communication with a host before! Steven not only communicated well before our stay, but would text us helpful info during our stay. Upon arrival, the condo was pleasantly clean and well equipped for our needs. This condo is very nice and cozy. Very close to downtown Gatlimburg and just right next to Ober mountain, probably even walking distance! Amenities are good, clean and everything is in good state! Netflix for the kids and a nice patio which probably is great in summer! No problem with parking at all, and the drive up the mountain is not bad at all! I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Steve for making sure everything was perfect!

Steve is an excellent host. He sent activities, excellent directions , and much more. We spent a week in the condo which has great furnishings and a most comfy king size bed. A great place to stay while in Gatlinburg.

We had a great stay at Steve’s place! He was so easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. Everything on the listing is accurate. Drive up is a little scary if you’re not used to driving in the mountains but I got the hang of it pretty quickly though! It’s in a nice quiet location but not too far from town. Pizza delivery a few miles away was great! Would stay here again!!

My girlfriend and I spent the week in this very nice and comfortable condo unit as we toured the Great Smokey Mountains. After long days in the park it was very refreshing to come back to the condo and kick our feet up and relax on the deck. The daily siting of bears completed the week!!

It is not clear in the description that you have to go down 5 set of stairs if it had been we would not have booked this condo It was musty smelling and the carpets were damp if the humidifier had been turned on that probably would not have been a issue

My family and I stayed for a week in this mountain condo, and we absolutely loved it! The home was very clean and neat. The kitchen was amazingly clean! Lovely counter tops and new appliances! We cooked 5 of the 7 days and were never without what we needed to do so. The cookwear was in better condition than expected (I've seen some scary cookwear in vacation homes), and had everything we needed as far as utensils... all in all, a great kitchen! The beds were comfortable and a welcome friend after long days of trekking through Gatlinburg! The deck/patio was wonderful. Fully shaded with seating for 6. Automatic lighting illuminates the deck area for evenings. Its where we spent most of our time when in the home. Enjoying cool breezes and visits from birds, a raccoon and mama bear with cubs(she just walked by with her cubs in tow, didnt even seem to notice we were there...but we did have bear spray, just in case). If its the sun you seek, the pool is a 1 minute walk from your door! Overall, its a wonderful place to stay. Its exactly as advertised. That includes the stairs! Lets face it, most folks leave in the morning and return in the evening, so youre only going up those stairs once a day, its really not that big a deal! We took out our trash in the morning when we left to save an extra trip up! If you're looking for a place thats clean, comfortable, well stocked, well cared for and within 30 minutes or so of every attraction imaginable, THIS IS THE PLACE!

This was a perfect setting to come home to after a day of hiking in the park. Very clean, very quiet. Beds and furniture are quite comfortable. From the back deck we saw hummingbirds, a curious bear, and listened to the sounds of owls, crickets, and cicadas. As others have noted, there are three levels of stairs to go up and down.

This was a great property for us to vacation at. I do feel the cleaning ladies could've been more thorough, but it was nothing critical. It was quite a drive up the first time, but we got the hang of it after lol. Steve was a fantastic host. Provided plenty of helpful information and was quick to help us when needed. Our biggest complaint was the rude woman upstairs whom has a broken sliding door to her porch and doesn't care about other people as she goes in and out constantly. It sounds like furniture being moved all day and night. I don't understand owning a condo but not wanting to do the repairs. However, I know that isn't Steve's fault. Just bad luck for us lol. This condo was an amazing deal for the four of us. The porch was nice and cozy to relax on and just enjoy nature. And we saw 3 bears on our trips back to the condo, one of them that came up to our back porch. We had plenty of fun during our stay!

Steve is a great host. Always answered questions quickly. We found a better route to get up to the condo which felt less treacherous. Condo was nice. Well worth the price we paid. Steps did get tiring after going up and down multiple times. The beds were very comfortable!! No backaches the whole week!!

We paid for two nights, stayed one, took the loss and moved on. Very bad location, no view, four flights of stairs Down, not a well maintained property or unit. The unit is dated and not clean, but we paid the cleaning fee..... Just another owner trying to ride the vrbo trend, one star accommodation, motel 6 is a better choice.

If you are looking for a great value away from the city, this is a great option. It is a bit of a drive up the mountain and not for the faint of heart, but we enjoyed the drive. We saw bears, turkey, coyotes on our drives. It is easy to get to and from on the bypass. You can avoid the buy parts of the city if you want. It was close to Ober as well which was convenient. Communication was excellent from the owner and the lockbox made check in check out easy. It could use some updating and repairs as well a a deep cleaning, but I would stay again regardless.

The property was excellent. Quaint and cozy. Very nice for four people. Beautiful view from deck. The roads are a little intimidating as there are very sharp curves and not much room for two cars at the same time. No free parking downtown unless you are patronizing an establishment. Cheapest we found was $10 per day. Merchants that we encountered were all very nice and friendly. Hope to be able to go back soon.

The property was exactly as described. Clean and super comfy! We wanted a little getaway for just the 2 of us and it was perfect. The initial drive up was a bit sketchy the 1st night. There is a 2nd less scary way in and after we discovered that it was not bad. Overall we had a wonderful stay

You know how you walk into a place and it just feels good. That’s the feeling you’ll get when you walk in. The bed in the master sleeps good, too. Once inside you’ll feel secluded, just like you’re in a cabin. We never heard neighbors or dogs barking, etc... Brace yourself for the drive up but honestly, it’s not that bad. We drove up the mountain in a Nissan Altima and a Yukon. Our kids (5 and 7) loved the Christmas tree! It was such a nice touch. We’ve stayed in cabins around Seiverville and Gatlinburg but made the decision to come back here because it just felt good.

The condo was more than we expected. First a beautiful climbing road to the condo. Then ample parking, and ease of finding it. As described there are a few sets of stairs to maneuver, not bad at all. We were so pleased with the well stocked kitchen of pretty much anything you would need to cook a meal. The bedrooms are comfortable. The living room was also comfortable with the fireplace, which was nice after a rainy afternoon. The patio is so nice with a beautiful view of plants and trees. We enjoyed our stay, wish it was longer! I say it was more than expected because it was so reasonably priced with many perks. The location was also very good. Close to Gatlinburg, right by the Great Smokey National Park, and not far from Pigeon Forge as well. Thank you, we look forward to another trip in the future.

Very easy check-in process! The owner sent info to us upon completing payment and stayed in communication with us throughout the trip. There was an issue with the microwave but we were warned before we got there. We didn't need to use it anyway so it was fine. The condo was very clean. Comfortable beds, games for rainy days, etc. Very nice accommodations. The deck was very relaxing. Keep in mind you are below the parking grade so the view is of trees but I feel like it was that much more relaxing being kind of secluded!! The pool area was very nice as well. We enjoyed our stay! The owners have stocked the condo with mini soaps in the bathroom and starter trash bags and dish soaps. If you need to wash clothes while you are there, make sure to take some detergent. This was not a problem for us as I purchased some! Would recommend to friends.

Property is so outdated,the smell of mold, there is mold in the bathroom, water dripping from upstairs over the shower head, pillows dirty and the throw pillows smells of precious body odor. The sofas are sunken in , the place was dusty. The worst place I’ve ever stayed. Misleading of the stairs.. not a couple of flights down!!! more like four flights down!!! and up..not good for seniors.

Well when we first walked into the room there was a very bad smell my mother who was saying in the guest room said she could smell it all night Also the cleaning people only left us 2 half rolls of toilet paper and one full roll called and spoke to Steven about these problems he got back to me very quick but wasn’t able to do much about the problems the master bed room the bed was perfect I slept like a baby every night

I searched for days looking for the best place to rent for our birthday week/weekend. I read through the reviews and felt I had a pretty good idea what I was signing up for. Everything is as exactly as described. Yes, there are stairs. It’s worth it! We felt we had more privacy being on the bottom floor and the view was beautiful. Yes, there are cameras on the front and back of the condo, which made us feel safe. They are not positioned in a way that makes you feel like you’re being spied on in anyway. The condo was VERY clean, nicely decorated and fully furnished. I liked having the guest card, which gave us 10-20% discount on restaurants and attractions. The drive up the mountain was an adventure, we made it the first night in the dark but again, it was an adventure we’d gladly do again. The beds were comfortable. Oh, and I heard a bear our second night there! We are already looking at dates to go back in December!

Treacherous drive up to the condo to say the least. Definitely not a drive you want to make after dark! Outside entry was dirty - grill covered with dust and cobwebs. Inside was dark and disappointing. Immediately went to the deck - which was primary reason for booking this place. Deck was dirty, cushions were filthy and there was a dirty ashtray on the table. View was NOT as pictured. Contractors were working on the condo above us - all we heard for the hour we actually stayed here was sawing and hammering. Called Steve regarding our issues and were basically told "sorry about your luck". We did manage to find a lovely place in Gatlinburg so our vacation ended up being amazing. We were given a credit on another condo by Steve, but will not be taking a chance on that one. Expensive mistake!
