We came up for a long weekend with a couple of the grandkids. We loved the location, easy to get to downtown Gaithersburg and Pigeon Forge. We were hoping to see some bears and we weren't disappointed.

This has so much potential to be a great stay, but seriously fell short for us. We had several concerns during our stay: 1. Master bath mold on the ceiling of the shower 2. Exposed nails from a loose piece of trim in the hallway (this was a concern because we have small children) 3. Old, dry food stuck to the mattress of the sleeper sofa, which very obviously hasn't been cleaned 4. Large stains on bedding of the sleeper sofa 5. Large stains on the pack n play mattress. Thankfully we brought our own sheet for this, as there was no sheet for this and I wouldn't let a child sleep directly on the mattress given the stains. 6. We were unsure if the spare bedding was clean, as it was balled up and shoved in the living room closet and master bedroom closet. Nothing was folded so we didn't know if it was old bedding or if it was clean. The instructions say to contact the guest host for issues, so we did. Originally we received a quick response and were brought new, clean bedding which was nice. We were told maintenance would fix the exposed nails which never happened during our entire week long stay. I reached out a second time to both guest hosts with another question and didn't get a response for 2 days, which is unfortunate. Like I said, if the above could be addressed this place has potential. The decor was cute and cabin-ey. Great kitchen. Extremely comfortable beds. Location was great as long as you're okay with driving up the mountain (we didn't mind at all). Great pool.

My whole family enjoyed a lot there… the condo was very pretty, quiet, safe…. The view was fantastic… the weather great.. we’re so close to Gatlinburg down town… the property is strategic point…. Very clean, comfortable and we could cook whatever we wanted… I would like to come back soon to go again to Great Smoky Mountain National Park

Very comfortable and met all our needs. It is a more remote location which we enjoyed! All the necessary kitchen equipment was provided which was great as we prepared several meals on site. Very nice surroundings!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location was close to the West side of Gatlinburg and the National Park. We drove right by the Sky Lift bridge on the way to the condo, and could see the Ober Tramway from the porch. The area was quiet, although the unit above us was very noisy. We saw a bear right off the porch a few times during our stay. The main complaint I have is the linens. The listing says linens provided, but that is not totally accurate. There was nothing provided for the sleeper sofa and the queen bed had only a sheet and one thin blanket that was too small for the bed. No bedspread or comforter was there. This was an issue for guests before, as the guest book had this frequently mentioned about the need for more bedding. There were 6 of us staying and only 3 washcloths were in the unit. There were multiple extra pillows, but no pillowcases. It needs a good deep cleaning with dusting, cleaning corners and fixtures, but other than that it was clean and a pleasant stay.

It was a quite dirty; toothpaste in the sink from the previous renter, disgusting soap scum in the shower, the corners of the floor were filled with buildup, coffee grounds were left in the coffee pot, etc. About half of the lights didn’t have working lightbulbs, and there was only one little blanket on each bed.

Not a fan of the drive up and down the mountain but worth it for the peace… house cleaning was the only challenge we faced bc we waited at the house for them to stop by to take care of an issue and they didn’t communicate they were not coming right at the time so we wasted our time waiting on them

Very nice. Should let people know about drive up to condo. Contacted owners Tuesday when we got in about broken closet door with no response still. I do not want to be held responsible. Also do not like being asked to tip the cleaning staff when I was required to pay a cleaning fee.

Simple booking. Felt like a few things could help to make condo better. Need more cooking items (baking dishes, serving bowls etc). Made for difficulty cooking dinners. We were greeted with a sour, almost vomit like odor, in the family room. We contacted the emergency number and was told apparently the couch (sleeper) was brand new, and that was the culprit. We went and bought candles, and Febreeze, to help not smell it too badly. Couldn’t get any of the tvs to work. Followed directions and still didn’t work anywhere. We finally went and bought batteries to see if they helped. Still took 10 mins every single night to try and get the tvs to work. Very frustrating when you have little ones to try and occupy during the down time. Place could use a good dusting. Cobwebs were in every corner and on every light fixture. Master bathroom shower wasnt as clean as expected. The floor and shower door had mildew. The beds didn’t have enough blankets, and were missing the quilt in the pics. There was only one thin blanket on the bed. The closet door wouldn’t stay on track. We just stopped using the closet all together. Location of condon was great! We did have several run ins with the bears!

We spent a week here and enjoyed everything about this place. This condo is on the 1st floor and has parking right outside the door. There are 3 small steps down,but nothing like climbing stairs after a long day. This place feels like a resort cabin with the decoration and furniture. The attention to detail is amazing. We didn’t use it much, but the covered patio is really nice. There isn’t much to see except for trees and the the clubhouse pool. The shower in the master bathroom is big enough for 2 people. Water pressure and water temperature are on point. There are plenty of towels to use. We did bring our own sheets, but the ones provided looked fine. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. We didn’t cook during our time here, but we could have. This condo is up in the mountains and requires a long winding drive with steep inclines and your ears will pop temporarily due to the elevation. Phone service is 1 bar so set your gps up while you are on the wifi or have service in town. Depending on where you are going, the gps will take you a couple of different ways down. It’s best to memorize one way down just in case your service cuts out. The closest food/grocery is in the mountains at Chalet Village Market which is a mile away. They have pizza/burgers and offer delivery. Other than that you will have to travel down the mountain about 10 -15 mins to get to town/food options. Once we left in the morning, we didn’t return until we were done for the day because of the long winding drive. There are tons of other rentals in the area so you won’t be alone. Ober Gatlinhurg is less than a mile away. We paid $10 to park there and walked straight in instead of taking the downtown tram that would have been $20 per person. Based on our experience, skip Ober all together. It’s like an 80s mall with expensive attractions. Not worth the time or the money. Great wifi! We were able to stream movies and make FaceTime calls with ease. Roku is on all 3 tvs and cable tv is available even though we didn’t use it. Overall a great stay. I would highly recommend this condo if you can get past the driving requirement. My guess would be most rentals in the area are in the mountains though. Clean, comfortable stay and I’d highly recommend.

My husband is military and we rarely do family vacations as he is always deployed . This was our first family vacation in a really long time and the experience, far exceeded our expectations . The condo was lovely , the views breathtaking . We didn’t want to leave and our kiddos had a blast . Definitely recommend and will be back for sure !

We chose this place in order to stay in the same building as other family members. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw how updated our unit was. It was miraculously nicer than the one our family stayed in. It's up quite a long winding road but there was no short of bear sightings. Our neighbors even said they got to watch them take a dip in the pool. Also, many of the other units here have a lot of stairs and we lucked out only having to go up and down 3 little steps which was nice after some hiking. The gas fireplaces were a great touch and they included plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. I will say, it definitely felt more hotel like than a vacation home with some of the touches such as the tiny wrapped bars of soap and one coffee filter pack. But truthfully that didn't bother us any. Also we were traveling with an infant and it was nice they had a pack-n-play in a closet for use. We tried emailing property managers before leaving to confirm they had one and no one got back to us so in case you are curious yourself....yes, you can find one in the master closet to use. I just suggest bringing your own sheets. Thanks again for a great stay in the Smokies!

The condo was our retreat when we needed to get away from the crowds in town. It was quiet and relaxing. Everything we could ask for while on vacation. The decor really fit with the mountain experience. It made the condo feel more like a cabin with all the amenities of home. It's a very comfortable cozy place to stay. I did not realize we were driving to the heavens. That was the only down fall. If you are afraid of highs, you might want to look elsewhere. The beds were very comfy too. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Overall our trip and stay your facility was good. The main problem was on the first day the AC was not working and we did not sleep comfortably because it was to hot. On the second day, we went to Dollywood and the manager John had someone come in and repair the AC. Everything was good after that.

This condo is very nice with plenty of space, comfortable beds and a great covered back porch. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was the roads up to the condo are pretty narrow and winding with steep drop-offs and limited guard rails. You definitely have to be very careful driving up to it. We also were only there Tue - Thursday (leaving Friday morning) and the pool was closed for "maintenance" on Tuesday and Wednesday. We did enjoy the pool on Thursday. Overall it was a great rental, and we enjoyed some quality family time.

An Amazing Getaway in the Mountains!

This condo unit is the best we have ever stayed in. The place was very clean and the new renovations are gorgeous. Even though it was a condo, we felt like we were in a mountain chalet. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and the outside deck was spacious with an amazing view! It was plenty big enough for our family of four and could have easily fit 2 more people. Though the pool/clubhouse were not open, the unit was located directly next to it. During the summer this would make this place even better! Also, the condo gives you access to 2 other pools/clubhouses that are located in Chalet Village. This would be a great asset during the summer months. Even with all of that, the location was probably the best thing about the condo. It was easy to get to by taking the Gatlinburg Bypass and then once at the condo, it was extremely easy to go directly to Smoky Mountain National Park or Gatlinburg without having to go through the traffic of the main strip(in Gatlinburg). It took less than 10 minutes to get to the National Park Visitor Center which was what we really went there to see. This is really an advantage because usually getting to the park is a hassle because you have to go through downtown Gatlinburg. Finally, the condo is up in the mountains which really gives you the "getting away from it all" feeling that everyone wants during a vacation. We highly recommend this condo and can't wait to come back year after year. Thanks for sharing it with us! Paul M.

Our experience was everything we hoped for and more. The location is ideal as it's far enough away from the Gatlinburg rumble, yet close to everything with a breathtaking view. The property is clean, inviting, comfortable, homey, and with all the amenities needed to make this a fabulous vacation lodging. We were really impressed with our stay. The condo is exactly as pictured. It’s beautiful! Plenty of room, everything you could need for your stay, and the deck was fantastic. We honestly loved the view too! It was overall a great stay, and our children have begged us to stay again...so we plan to!
