Staff were amazing!!! Property was clean and well kept. We loved having our own parking spot. Private cabin was clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again.

The colony is just around the corner from every activity worth checking out in Lake George. The property is very well maintained and the cabins are clean. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to guests.
Tip: Don’t leave any items outside on the porch - someone stole out lighter fluid while we were out. The beds are small and fairly uncomfortable, but not a deal breaker for us.

The location was near Lake George village.
When check-in, we were provided with a wrong key and the door code was not working. We were also given the wrong password wifi. There was no one at the reception desk and we had to call the hotel to sort out the correct key and wifi password. Also, if we did not have roaming for US calls, it would have been impossible to reach out the reception desk. No towels were provided in the room but the hotel provided them after our call. No toiletries like soap, shower gels are provided by the hotel.
