About this apartment rental

In one of the oldest farms in the village of Argentiere, this fully renovated 80m² apartment combines traditional materials and modern furnishings.
It enjoys a very attractive location: close to all shops in the village, 200m from the forest (ballads, children's playground ...), you will have access to winter 200m cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing .. and the Grands Montets ski area nearby, the return can also be done on skis.

What a find! David's house was absolutely perfect for our family ski holiday in Argentiere.Centrally located in the village so that everything was walkable (ski hire, Grands Montets cable car and ESF meeting points, train station, supermarket, bars, restaurants, bus-stops etc), we didn't even have to hire a car this year!David was super friendly and accommodating, meeting us at the house when we arrived and allowing us to store our luggage in the boot room on the day we left. The house is perfect for a family of five, open plan upstairs with double bedroom, bathroom with shower and separate toilet, and a brilliant room for the kids downstairs in the old cheese cellar! We had a brilliant holiday and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely visit to Argentiere and the Chamonix valley. We really enjoyed our stay. David and Ingrid were very welcoming and friendly. The children slept very well in the downstairs bedroom in the old cheese cellar!

This flat is perfectly placed near the center of Argentieres and benefits from a place for one car. Restaurants, supermarket and the ski station "Les grands montés" are all per feet reachable. The property is well equipped and fits a family with 2 to 3 children. Very good communication to set up the check in.

It’s a lovely apartment in the heart of old Argentiere, with a very useful private parking space just outside. The apartment is very clean but rather minimally furnished! A chair and two bedside tables with lamps in the main bedroom would be useful! And maybe some pictures on the walls? But it is a lovely , neat, clean apartment which we have stayed in several times and we will be back!

I was travelling with my daughter for a week’s skiing. I’ve been to Chamonix valley many times and this was my first time staying in Argentiere. It’s quiet and away from the bustle but lovely for it. A quiet mountain community with everything you need and great access to all the ski stations. David’s place was absolutely perfect. Traditional yet well appointed, there is a lovely sense of history compared to many of the ‘boxes’ you can stay in in the mountains. David was a very communicative, helpful and knowledgeable about the area having lived here all his life. We hope to return.

We absolutely loved our time in this holiday home. It had everything we needed, it was cosy, warm and comfortable. It’s location was perfect too, just a short walk from the shops and restaurants in Argentiere as well as being close to the ski slopes. We would highly recommend Staying at this property.

This is a lovely apartment with a fantastic location in Argentiere. The town centre is only a couple of minutes walk away in one direction whilst beautiful trails are a couple of minutes in the other direction. Despite its central location, the apartment is nonetheless very quiet The apartment was very well equipped and maintained to a very high standard and David was a very good host - very prompt, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Super property that is spacious and warm. Underfloor heating kept us cosy over Xmas and New Year, highly recommended and reassuring that David, the owner, lives upstairs should anything be required. David welcomes us and provided all the information we needed for a very comfortable stay, thank you.

This is a really lovely apartment on the ground floor of a farmhouse in the heart of the old village. It’s a little way from the Grands Montets lifts, but a parking space just outside the door means it is very easy to drive there or to the other ski areas in the valley. It’s a short walk to the supermarket and shops and bars in Argentiere. An excellent base for a couple or small family skiing in the Chamonix area.

Great appartment in the oldest Farm house in the village. Warm, cosy, rustic but modern and beautifully finished accomodation. Lovely bathroom, under floor heating, ski room, kitchen is handy with a good oven and decently equipped. The place could do with a second sofa in the lounge but our kids made a den with their sleeping bags- happy days. They were delighted with the fast wifi! The location is an absolute winner 3 min walk to supermarché, patisserie, pizzeria, ski bus stop, cash point, ski school and ski shop :Savoy sports nice and very helpful people highly recommended! Been a delight to stay, David is very helpful and answers e mails in a flash.
