A journey into the heart of magnificent and majestic Paris in a very peaceful, quiet setting on the very elegant and popular Avenue de Breteuil, surrounded by rows of plane trees and vast expanses of lawn dotted with 19th-century flowerbeds stretching all the way to the entrance of the tomb of France’s first emperor: Napoleon Bonaparte.
There is never a moment when one leaves the building without being struck by this presence, this grandeur of the avenue.
The Invalides area is particularly elegant, home to most of the embassies, ministers, and government ministries. The neighborhood is very safe.
The Prime Minister’s office is nearby, and the main entrance to the building is secured by an intercom system and a second door with a secret code (digicode).
While you’re enjoying peace and tranquility, this very central location is ideal for exploring Paris while still enjoying a peaceful retreat, and for experiencing the wild and crazy Parisian lifestyle that every tourist knows.
The apartment faces east and southeast, making it quiet, sunny, and very well-lit. It features one double bedroom (one bed) and one double bedroom (2 separate beds that can be converted into 1 double bed), which features a fireplace and a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the summer.
The renovation was just completed in early 2014.

The traditional French market is held two mornings a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in a 200-square-meter space (5-minute walk)
One bus stop for the Paris Open Tour, a 1-minute walk to explore all of Paris by bus
All of Paris in just over ... 50 stops to discover Paris, 4 tours = 1 pass
The historic “La Pagode” movie theater is showing the latest films, just a 5-minute walk away.
Metro line: No. 13 (St. François Xavier station) (1-minute walk) or No. 8 (École Militaire).
The location is perfect: a 1-minute walk from Napoleon’s tomb and the Grand and Petit Palais de Chaillot (), 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, 5 minutes from the Rodin Museum, ...the Quai Branly Museum, and the Museum of Otolaryngology. The Tuileries Garden is an 18-minute walk away.
Near “Le Bon Marché,” close to Saint-Germain
You can also take a boat ride on the Seine; the dock is at the end of the street. The children’s park is on Avenue de Breteuil. You can rent a Vélib (bike rental with credit card), just a 1-minute walk away.
Parking is available along the entire length of Avenue de Breteuil and is easy to find.
Check-in and check-out at any time, depending on the next/previous guests.
Taxis are available.
I speak English (and German, but only on a full moon night!).

30 € for cleaning the apartment under normal conditions DURING YOUR STAY AND USE .. (40 € for long-term stays).
Please note: if there are stains (for example, a pen mark), you will be charged an additional granite cleaning fee, which will be deducted from your security deposit.

No smoking, and no parties.
A cleaning fee of 40 € is charged under normal conditions of occupancy and use. This means that the apartment is left in a respectable condition, and the kitchen is clean and tidy.
In the event of damage or stains (such as pen marks on the sofa), laundry fees will be charged additionally.

The location and the owner were excellent. His recommendations in the neighbourhood including restaurants/bakery proved to great. It is close to public transport and attractions. It was quiet and we felt very safe in the area. There is a park opposite which is great for running, kids play and dog watching.
The small elevator is wonderful for moving luggage up and down. Our host could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. He gave us a great start to our trip.

Renaud’s cozy apartment in the 7th is close to everything you need to make Paris a memorable experience. Whether you need a Boulangerie, cafe, restaurant with outdoor seating, or late night grocery shopping, I t’s all in walking distance including a couple of metro stations. The apartment is in ideal walking distance to the small tower, all major museums, the Seine, and other attractions. Our party of four (parents and 2 university students) found the apartment from the eighteen hundreds to be sufficiently equipped with the basics but we didn’t cook in the small kitchen. Renaud is the perfect host - very responsive and clearly proud of his town and the lovely apartment. We would gladly rent from him again on our next visit.

Myself, my wife and two children (six and nine) stayed for four nights at the apartment.
Firstly Renaud is excellent. He is attentive, punctual, happily talked about local services and shops and made recommendations. He wants you to enjoy your stay. We had no problems at all with the apartment but I sense he would have responded immediately. Additionally he kindly offered that we could leave our bags at the apartment after check-out whilst we waited for our train home.
Secondly the apartment is charming. Typically Parisian, in a super apartment block. Everything works, the beds are comfortable, the décor good and it is pleasingly quiet.
Thirdly the location is splendid. On the doorstep of the Invalides, a metro station round the corner. There are a multitude of local bakers, grocers, supermarkets, restaurants and bistros catering for all tastes. You are in the heart of Paris and it also pleasingly feels like a place people live day to day rather than just being tourists or transitory. The area around Rue Cler is particularly lovely.
