Amazing little tree house

Great place to stay. Amazing location, just a short walk through the trees, and you're on the banks of Loch Morlich. Perfect location for snowboarding/skiing as it's a short drive to Cairngorm Mountain. Very clean and cosy. Bigger than pictures suggest. Staff were all really friendly and very dog friendly. Food from the Pine Marten bar was delicious and there were good options for vegans too.

It would benefit from having a tv.

A magical weekend in a magical treehouse.

My friend and I booked the Treehouse for a surprise for our friends birthday. We had all been to Aviemore in the past so it we wanted to go somewhere that we all had a fond connection with. This 2 night break was truly amazing. The Treehouse was well equipped and very clean. We planned to go into Aviemore centre on the 2nd night, but we had so much fun in the Pinehouse Bar on the 1st night that we decided to stay there both nights. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The quirky wee bar has so much character and the live music on both nights was perfect entertainment. A special shout out to Katie for sending my purse back down to me after I accidently left it. A truly special weekend and we will definitely be back.

The dish towels and kettle should have been cleaner. There is no bedroom per the ad. It is one room.

The treehouse was on a prime location, with the beautiful Pine Marten bar nearby. People working in the bar were very accommodating. Beside the bar was a small shop. Food served at the bar was delicious. I love that the treehouse had everything you need for a long stay - a kitchen, cooking and dining utensils. We'd definitely stay more than one night next time.

I didn't like that the only bed arrangement available was single-size bunk beds (tbf I didn't ask, I just assumed). We're a couple so we opted to sleep side by side on the bottom bunk - which definitely was a choice haha.

It’s a perfect little treehouse with ample space for cooking, sleeping, relaxing with small shop and pub right next door

It has everything you need from kettle to fridge; bathroom; bunk beds, sofa bed etc

Nothing but my husband would probably say there isn’t a tv so he doesn’t like that. Personally, I love no tv!

Quirky wee house in the most beautiful place.

Quirky place to stay at a beautiful location. Loch Morlich is so beautiful and the place is ideal for quick access to Cairngorm mountain. Cabin was well equipped, with plenty of handy hooks and was nice and clean.

The fold out bed was a bit uncomfortable.

The cabin was overall comfortable, it was well heated considering the outside temperature. Perfect location !

The sauna was unavailable, which was a big disappointment as we choose this place for that. The toilet seat was broken, the bathroom would need a renovation. There was no shampoo or shower gel provided and no cooking oil, although it was specified in the description.

Very good

This is a brilliant location, we were able to do everything we wanted in the Cairngorms by walking there or a short car journey. The loch is beautiful and there is plenty to do there with easy to follow trails. Having Pine Marten Bar so close by was fantastic. The food was great (we are veggie and we’re very impressed with the options)and staff are friendly and helpful.

Nothing that can be changed but maybe things to be aware of as a guest. This is a very central location and can be a bit noisy at times so not the place for people who are looking for tranquility.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff are friendly and the best place to stay in Cairngorm mountain.

The location because there were lots of birds and we saw a Red squirrel. It's s only two minutes walk to Morlich beach and few minutes to see the reindeers. Close to Cairngorm mountain which you can climb.

I didn't like the pillows and the bed, they are not comfy.

excellent cabin fitted with everything you need. very spotlessly clean. cozy with good heating. location was amazing and right next to pub!! The sauna under pub is great. Amazing wee pub serving good home cooked food and good local beers. Scott and staff are so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. It is amazingly dog friendly. I loved my stay and highly recommended to stay in Aviemore to get away from the town centre with peace and quiet.

My only negative thing was I didn’t find the Sofa bed very comfortable and it could do with a good thicker mattress protector or topper, :( but everything else was perfect ..

Cosy one roomed studio cabin, handy for the bustling Pine Martin bar and restaurant. Handy small shop on site. 5 mins walk to the banks of Loch Morlich, beautiful woodland walks around the property, handy for the reindeer centre.

Fabulous Treehouse

Love the Pine Marten -stayed in the pods previously, but first time in the Treehouse and loved it. Comfortable, spacious, everything you could need. Close to Morlich Beach, and the bar/restaurant is superb.

The beds wasn't very comfortable my son ended up with a sore back as the sofa bed was not comfortable at all. Also the tree house is in a very busy location.

Fab location & pub nearby

Floors not clean, making own sofa bed which wasn’t comfy & duvet cover didn’t button up , no cleaning items , no antibacterial wipes etc in these covid times.

Lovely to stay somewhere a little different from the usual B&B. Great location in the thick of it but still peaceful

Hidden Gem!

Such a wonderful unique property! The location is perfect, a 3 minute walk to the beach at Loch Morlich. Great facilities with a quirky cafe/bar right next door. Loads of local food takeaway places, so great if you don’t want to cook! Katy was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Tea/coffee/sugar was all provides along with bedding & washing up bits. Had a great WiFi signal too! Would highly recommend.

The view is lovely but it’s more of a campsite than the mountains as described.
