Beautiful view of the Appalachian mountains, large yard with fire pit, full length front porch, back deck and huge pavilion for parking or picnics. Family and Pet friendly with fenced side yard. Great location for Penn State football games and other events, business trips, family vacations and fly fishing.

The house offers plenty of space to eat, sleep and relax. Full kitchen with large fridge, microwave, propane stove, electric oven, great water (No sulfur), two full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, living room with couch and Dish Tv.
Master Bedroom and second bedroom each offer queen beds
Third Bedroom offers 1 futon/double and 2 twin beds.
A Rollaway bed is also available

The house has no carpet so feel free to bring Pets! We also have a large fenced yard to accommodate dogs.

Our stay was awesome! In the master bedroom there were many stink bugs in the curtains and window. No one stayed in that room, but there was a lot of bugs in it. Everything else was fantastic. Thank you!

One of the best stays we’ve ever been to; was perfect for the whole family! Our kids all had their own space & it even gave us peace of mind for our dogs with the fenced in patio and side yard! We were traveling to see the PSU game, was a quick drive to campus & close enough drive to grab any necessities! After the game we were looking for food nearby, Spruce Creek Tavern, a quick 5 minute down the road, was wonderful! Service was excellent and the food was even better! Would highly recommend! This trip was definitely one for the books! We’ll definitely be back again!!

The property is NOT as advertised. The pictures of the property are very very very old, probably more than 10 years old. The property is run down and overgrown and grass not mowed. When we entered the house we walked through many spiderwebs and had to deal with spiders, flies, and other bugs in the house. The kitchen was not clean; the dishes, drinking glasses and cups, pots, pans, etc., were sticky and dirty. We found bugs in the towels. We were very wary about the cleanliness of everything else after this; including the bed linens, which needless to say, did not result in a good night's sleep. This could have been such a nice stay for us because it is a nice roomy house and has lots of potential but unfortunately, it was not.

We had an absolute wonderful stay! The house seems small from the outside, but boy was there tons of room inside. The house was very clean and had everything that you will need. We had some family dinners around the large table and outside on the back deck. The night was filled with fires in the large fire pit. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. It was very nice having linens (beds already made) and towels. The bathtub was my daughter’s favorite! She could lay back and not be scrunched up. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to make a big meal. Garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, and laundry pods were all provided. We were 30 minutes from State College and enjoyed some delicious ice cream. We also drove to the scenic overlook which was about 5-10 minutes away with a spectacular view. Also, lots of fishing near by. No complaints, was a wonderful weekend and will definitely be back!

This rental property has a lot to offer in terms of location. Although it feels remote, you are approx 30 min from State College, Raystown Lake and the Huntingdon area which all have lots to offer…hiking ,boating, fishing, natural caves and of course, PSU (don’t miss Berkey Cremery).The rental is clean and well equipped….even nightlights and a flashlight for taking your dog out at night. Directions were clear for what to do when checking out. We would definitely return!

We needed a place for 7 (us, daughter and son-in-law and 3 grandkids) for our grandson's basketball tournament at PSU. This was perfect. We didn't have to stay in a price gouged hotel with A LOT of other loud tournament teams; this house also allowed us to have simple dinners and save a few pennies (we are newly retired!) then relax in a relaxed setting. Thank you SO much!!

Beautiful area! Loved the drive to the home. Home itself more than adequate. Took a few minutes to figure out the heating but all good after found. First time staying in VRBO, didnt think to bring soap, at least us men didn’t. Only request would be a light at the end of the driveway at least illuminated sign. Missed the drive a couple times at night.Would most definitely stay here again.

This is a 3 bedroom ranch with large rooms in a country setting. The abundance of windows offered views of the "Happy Valley" countryside in all directions. Nice outdoor areas to enjoy in warmer weather. w warmer

This house provided just what we needed for a fall family weekend. The home was very clean and exactly as described online. The five adults and one Golden Retriever were very comfortable. We used the grill and enjoyed fires in the fire pit. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook a family meal. We took a short drive to Lower Trail and hiked along the creek for a couple miles. We also enjoyed lunch at the nearby tavern. The owner was very easy to work with and we would recommend this property to friends.

Listing was spot on, perfect spot for our annual ladies PSU football game! Plenty of space to sleep for small or larger groups, multiple full bathrooms, full kitchen. The house was perfect for our group of 4-5 fishermen. After a long day of fishing it was nice to come back to the house for a quick shower, dinner in a great kitchen stocked with cooking supplies and relax in front of the TV for the last NBA finals game. The cabin is well situated near the Little Juniata river....only a short drive away from great fishing spots.

We rented this house for our family's visit to Penn State for a football game. It was close to the campus without the insane cost!! House was very clean and we hope to visit again!! Only recommendations are - 1. A light near the end of the driveway so people can see the street address. We arrived after dark and passed it at first. 2. New mattresses. The beds have long ago exceeded their use and left us with sore backs.

The house is an older country house, but was amazing for what we were looking for. It comfortably slept our 7 guests within striking distance of State College, which is hard to find. Our only complaint was the queen mattress/bed in the bedroom with the the twin beds has exceeded it's life span. You literally sank to the middle, but we only had one person in it, so it worked out. The wifi worked very well, which is important because we had no cellular service (not one bar) through Verizon (no fault of owner). The yard was awesome, which my kids took advantage of and it even has a fenced in dog run if you bring your fur baby. The local community is quiet and has beautiful scenery. Highly recommend the Spruce Creek Tavern for lunch or dinner. It's like 3 minutes away and was a great spot for dinner and a beverage. Our host was very helpful and I hope this house will be available the next time we plan a Penn State trip.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at this property! The home had everything we needed, it was comfortable and clean. It was also nice having part of the property fenced off so our dog was able to run around and play. We loved the area! Beautiful views and so peaceful. We were in the area to move our daughter into PSU and the drive from the home to the campus was an easy one.
