Piece of heaven located in the beautiful hills of the Pa Wilds in Pennsylvania, this spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin can sleep 10 comfortably. Situated right off the main route to Benezette where the Elk run free and occasionally rest in the yard. Easy access to all the "must see" scenic sites like The Cross on the Hill, Elk Country Visitor Center, Hyners View, and close to great activities. The cabin offers central air, WiFi, and a hot tub on a large covered porch!
This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin can sleep 10 comfortably and has a hot tub on a large covered porch! The first floor includes the kitchen with countertop seating, a dining room with a dining table, love seat and small tv, a bedroom with a queen bed, and the primary bathroom with a washer and dryer. The main bedroom is a few steps up from the first floor and features a large king bed, a sleep sofa, and an attached bath. The basement has the primary living room with additional sleeping options, smart tv, couch and recliners, and an electric fireplace. Linens and towels are provided!

Both bathrooms were big and lots of counter space. Master bedroom was huge and beds were so comfortable. We could’ve stayed a week and the location was perfect.

We loved the place and had a great time in the area. We did not use the hot tub, so we can’t speak to that. The kitchen was great. It have everything we needed. We would go back. We saw a bull elk and 10-15 cows less than 1/2 mile from here. See picture.

The house and property were well kept. Everything was clean and better than expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions. We definitely recommend this home and are considering returning again in the fall. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of walking and sightseeing.

Dishes were dirty in the Cupboards had to wash before we could use them. Downstairs recliners were broken. We were told that they had firewood but there wasn’t any. Messaged the host and was told sorry for the inconvenience go buy some. Went to use the gas grill gas wasn’t even hooked up. Tried to hook it up but we couldn’t so we contacted the host and was told to go to another camp and get what was needed off that grill and to make things worse we had to walk up a extremely slippery and steep hill to even get to that other camp. And then carry the heavy bottle back down that hill.

Was great from beginning to end. Super close to the river so we could fish and walk, was nice the first day with some deep areas. I’d bet when the water warms up a little it’ll be nice to swim. The dogs loved it and the nice yard to play in. The grill hot tub and fire pit were all a hit outside, Went a short drive to the visitor center and saw about 40 elk in the field the second day even with rain on and off. We bought a puzzle there and hung out and drank and did it that night since it was too cold and rainy to be outside. 500 pieces was a little ambitious but we’ve left it for other guests to also attempt. Overall great trip, location and everything in the house was perfect. Very homey.

Nice, spacious place with a large yard and fantastic outdoor porch. Property backs up against some very nice woods and a nearby creek. Very quiet and relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped and convenient for all meals. There was a propane grill outside which I didn't get the chance to use. Quick 10 minute drive to Benezette where you'll find the Elk Country Visitor's Center and Winslow Hill Elk Viewing Area. Winslow Hill is by far the best place to see the elk at dawn and dusk. Highly recommend for a relaxing nature getaway!

This property has a wonderful location especially if you’re looking to quad or side by side right outside your door. 3 rd bedroom in basement could use a dehumidifier and possibly a bathroom. The kitchen was wonderful and had everything you could need. Overall a nice place to stay

My wife and I planned to fish,hike and spend time together with our black lab in the area. The property was in a great location with a nice hot tub to enjoy after all the sightseeing for Elk. No sightings but great views from the deck area for deer and stargazing

I've always heard about the wild Elks in PA, and have always wanted to visit. So my husband and I decided to look for some places to stay right before Christmas that were dog friendly, with a hot tub! With it being off season, we weren't sure if we'd see Elk. We were lucky to see them at Dawn on a drive up Winslow Hill Rd.. Lots of bugling too! Saw many Bulls very close and got some great photos! Our German Shepard loved the giant open yard to run around... we had a fire outside on Christmas Eve and it was even warm enough to eat our steak dinner outside that we cooked on the grill. The hot tub was lovely with the view of the hill in the background. All in all - going off-season was a fantastic idea!

House was very clean. There is a loveseat and TV on first floor so didn’t need to go downstairs. Beds were comfortable, kitchen updated. Hot tub was great, large porches with roofs allowed us to sit out all day and evenings. Didn’t see any elk but we did have 6 deer one evening and a couple a second evening. Overall very relaxing time and looking forward to going back in 2024.

Despite having awful weather the weekend of our visit (cold and rainy), we had an incredible stay at the property! From the beautiful kitchen to the relaxing hot tub and it's mountain views (breathtaking!), the house was inviting and well accommodated. The stairs to the basement were a little daunting, but our teenage daughters loved to have their own getaway space where the grown ups didn't bother them! Even my mother, who happened to be in a wheelchair during our stay, found everything comfortable and accessible (other than the basement!). The property owner was quick to respond to messages, and the check in and out process was smooth and easy! Location is very nearby the Elk County Visitor center and downtown Benezette, near the cross, and not far from any of the local restaurants or wineries. I highly recommend! Would love to return in the future!

The house is great. We spent most of our time on the large covered porches. The mountain view is amazing! The steps to the living room are sketchy but we spent out time outside. We'd definitely go back!

We stayed here last August before school started for the kids. We enjoyed it so much we booked the house again in January for the same timing. Though the house was not as clean this time around it still served it's purpose. The new owners were attentive. My only suggestion would be to do better on the cleaning, appearance is everything in a rental property. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Had a great time exploring a part of our state we had never been to before. The house was wonderful and even though the weather was great, we decided to cook in the kitchen because it was that fabulous! Communication with the owner was perfect and any issue we had was taken care of promptly. The views from the deck were spectacular! Didn’t see any elk, but that was ok. Had some deer in the morning so that was nice. Great stay! Will go back!

Our son got married this weekend and staying at this cabin was perfect. We spent most of the time on the covered porch. Our Australian Shepherd loved the yard. Everything we needed was there. We would highly recommend this rental.
