A really quiet and peaceful location. The local town of Amboise is only 4 miles away, it has 2 markets a week where you can buy most anything and of course the Château Royal d'Amboise is well worth a visit. Other châteaux on the Loire are within easy reach. The river Loire was well below its normal level (August '22) so no boat trips for us. If you like white wine then Montlouis is just down the road. The gîte was clean, tidy, very quiet and has a fridge freezer, ideal for the hot weather we had.

Lovely stay

Lovely stay

For two of us the property was fine but had there been four it would have been difficult in that there was only I sofa and hanging space was limited to a rail downstairs. The property was well equipped but there were no sharp knives. It is ideally situated to visit chateaux in the region and vineyards and it was great to sit out in the grounds in the evening and relax after a busy day. The local railway line has a good service to lager towns in the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

A lovely two bedroom gite, set in beautiful surroundings. The facilities were excellent with washing machine etc in the kitchen. The owners left us some of their chickens eggs for breakfast which were delicious and were very helpful giving us advice on what we could see in our two days in the region. Peacocks and peahens roamed the grounds. Idyllic!

This place is a gem. Madame Rose has so many nice touches around the place from greeting guests with a bowl of chocolates to having a thoughtfully well-stocked guest house complete with hairdryer, 2 clothes drying racks with hangers, a towel warmer in the bath, freshener in the bathroom, sugar, paper towels and even a potty seat for a baby. A nice touch was that the guest house came complete with bath towels and bed sheets which was not the case at another gite we rented. Thanks so much for all these lovely touches. I wish we had had more time to look around and walk the grounds.

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben diese Wohnung nach einer Woche in Paris als Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung etlicher Loireschlösser ausgesucht. Die Lage ist dafür hervorragend geeignet. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr nette Dame und die Wohnung ist richtig schön. Küche gut ausgestattet, großer Esstisch, ordentlich Wasserdruck und sauber einstellbare Temperatur im Bad, schöne Schlafräume im ersten Stock und absolute Nachtruhe. Klare Empfehlung!

Nous avons fait un séjour assez court mais nous avons apprécié le cadre, le beau jardin . Il y a beaucoup d'espace, chaque gîte dispose d'une table et de chaises à l'extérieur. Le gîte est très fonctionnel, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. La décoration est très soignée et la propreté impeccable. Nous le conseillons vivement!

Nous gardons un goût de "revenez-y" de cette charmante location où nous avons pu apprécier de longues soirées dans un écrin de verdure ,au calme,et où les propriétaires nous ont réservé un accueil plein de bienveillance et de discrétion. Le gîte est bien équipé,et le charme de ce domaine peut être appréciable pour un couple,un petit groupe ou une famille qui voudraient fuir la ville et respirer un air pur....Les amis des bêtes pourront admirer de jolies volailles,et les amoureux de l'art et de l'histoire seront à deux pas des châteaux de la Loire.... Un charme rare et une adresse à retenir.

Este alojamiento está muy bien situado si lo que se quiere es visitar los principales castillos de la región del Loyra. Es muy tranquilo, pero se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de Amboise. La propietaria es muy amable y el alojamiento está muy bien equipado. Sólo faltaría tener algún producto más de limpieza. Ce gîte est très bien situé, c'est le meilleur point de départ pour découvrir les chateaux de la région . Il est tranquil et calme et bien equipé. La propriétaire est très gentile. Je mettrais plus de produits pour le nettoyage (détergent pour la machine à laver, flit, par exemple).

Déjà le troisième séjour dans ce gîte que nous réservons d'une année à l'autre. Nous ne pouvons nous en passer. L'accueil est chaleureux, bienveillant et le gîte est idéalement situé pour toutes les visites de châteaux exceptionnels entre autres..Les activités de loisir sont nombreuses : vélo, canoë, divers parcs animaliers aux environs etc...et j'en oublie. Bravo pour la tenue de l'habitat et du parc qui est un merveilleux havre de verdure au calme ponctué par le doux gloussement de Lulu le dindon ...adorable et très drôle également. Séjour très agréable dans ce gîte agencé avec goût situé dans un endroit calme avec terrasse et jardin. Les propriétaires sont parfaits, sympathiques, attentionnés envers leurs hôtes et de très bon conseil tout en étant discrets. Excellente literie, le gîte est très bien aménagé et très propre. Le plus est la grange immense et magnifique où nous avons pu garer la voiture en toute sécurité. Merci beaucoup Myriam et Stéphane , nous vous embrassons. A l'année prochaine, Michel et Sylvie.

In einem sehr toll restaurierten Haus haben wir in der Wohnung "Chardonnay" schöne 2 Ferienwochen erlebt. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, mit allem notwendigen eingerichtet und bietet auf 2 Etagen ausreichend Platz. Die Eigentümer sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Das Anwesen ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wesentliche Sehenswürdigkeiten können gut und schnell erreicht werden.
