Small house dependent on a main house, just renovated, in the heart of a lemon grove, pedestrian access 60 steps, studio of 20-25 m² quiet, the countryside to the city, 1 km from the beaches, near bakery and commerce . Location Borrigo.
Spacious room 160 cm bed, with kitchen area (fridge, oven, microwave, hotplates, coffee machine, toaster), bathroom with walk-in shower, dressing room, washing machine, terrace, in the heart of a garden planted with agrum and other fruit trees.
Possibility cot or child fireside.
Access to a spa in season, access to ping-pong table.
Help for luggage.

We are a retired couple who stayed in this little gem of a cottage for a month in May-June 2023. Although there are many steps to negotiate up to the cottage, it is well worth it to keep you fit and for the experience. The outdoor patio seating area is so special for eating alfresco and taking in the beautiful views across the valley, which is very peaceful. The location is excellent as you can walk to the centre and beach in about 20 minutes. There are buses to many places of interest and 10 tickets cost €15 and can be purchased from the central bus station. One can also take the train to Italy from the central train station. There is an Intermarche, Aldi, restaurants and a very good boulangerie/patisserie within walking distance, so all needs are close by. Our hosts were a lovely friendly family who respected our privacy, were very helpful and responded immediately to any issues we had. We would highly recommend staying here.

It was as Stated on Internet and the Steps (60) up to the Small House would not suit anyone who had with Mobility Problems. The Owners plus thier Family were very Welcoming , they picked us up from Menton Gare and at the end of our stay gave us lift back to Menton Gare . We were totally happy with our stay and say thankyou to Helene & Jacques . Jan & Mary.

Après avoir gravi les marches pour arriver jusque chez nos hôtes nous arrivons dans une propriété avec au fond un studio indépendant, très au calme et avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons passé une semaine au top et avons pu découvrir la région sans oublier de se détendre dans le spa en fin de journée. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles en cas de besoin comme pour aider pour les bagages. Il est également facile de se garer dans le quartier avec le macaron fourni à notre arrivée ! Nous garderons que des bons souvenirs de notre séjour.

Une belle annexe avec Jacuzzi, en hauteur par rapport à la ville ce qui donne beaucoup de lumière. Un endroit très relaxant avec un bel accueil d'Hèlene et Jacques, merci !

Un séjour agréable, la famille Varol très à l'écoute et ils tiennent à notre confort. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et si besoin nous pouvions les joindre sur leur téléphone. Si vous souhaitez passer des vacances à Menton, vous serez bien logés et accueillis par de bonnes personnes. Merci encore à Hélène et Jacques pour leur accueil.

Le séjour s’est bien passé, les propriétaires Hélène et Jacques sont d’une extrême gentillesse et toujours soucieux du bien être des locataires. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les gérants sont très accueillants ,disponible et aidant à toute épreuve. Ils ont fait vraiment attention à notre intimité et ont été soucieux que cet endroit soit le plus paisible possible, très calme pour se reposer. Le studio est bien agencé , il y a, à disposition un spa que nous avons bien investi et apprécié. De plus ,les propriétaires connaissent bien la région , et nous ont fait part de lieux fabuleux à découvrir.

Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit in Menton. Hélène und Jacques waren sehr hilfsbereit und zu jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr gepflegt, sauber und hatte alles was man braucht (inklusive Waschmaschine). Kann man nur weiter empfehlen und bei der nächsten Gelegenheit würden wir die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen!
