About this apartment rental

This small 2-room apartment is located on the 3rd floor (with elevator) of a beautiful building with double entrances, one on the sea side and one on the city side.
The apartment overlooks the city side and enjoys a view of the mountains that surround Menton.
It consists of an entrance room with kitchen and dining area, a bedroom with mezzanine and a bathroom with toilet.

Menton is a pretty little town on the French Riviera, located between the Principality of Monaco and Italy.

Although at the edge of the Mediterranean, the city is surrounded by a magnificent mountain circus.

This very particular geographic configuration means that Menton benefits from a very mild climate, even in winter.

This can be seen very particularly in the numerous and magnificent gardens of the city where it is possible to find very specific species and which very often are found on other continents.

Daniel is a very good host being a nice, helpful and punctual gentleman. The apartment is very convenient for the beach, promenade, Carrefour supermarket and Menton railway station is about a 10 minute walk away.

Menton er et udmærket sted for et ferieophold : gode badestrande og et rigeligt udbud af restauranter samt mange nært beliggende udflugtsmål. Lejligheden i av.Felix Faure har en fortræffelig beliggenhed med strandpromenade til den ene side og gågade til den anden. Beskrivelsen af lejligheden svarer godt til virkeligheden og passede fint til vores forventninger og behov (to personer). Værten var meget venlig og imødekommende, påtog sig at køre os til togstationen og ville have hentet os, hvis vi havde bedt om det. Vi havde et fortræffeligt ophold i et dejligt septembervejr.

Agréable location dans un immeuble de prestige. Très bien située, proche de la mer et des commerces. Propriétaires sympathiques. Un bémol toutefois car la rue étant très bien située, elle est touristique et donc bruyante jusqu'à tard le soir.

Immeuble de charme , très calme et Appartement très bien situé. Il est possible de tout faire à pied les courses,aller à la gare Routière et SNCF, profiter des Festivités.La Mer est en face de L'immeuble. Les propriétaires (je n'ai vu que Monsieur)sont charmants très réactifs pour apporter des réponses à toutes les questions.Monsieur Bottero a eu la gentillesse de venir nous chercher à la gare et de nous y reconduire lors de notre départ. Un peu de rénovation et tout serait Parfait. M.J.L.

Die Wohnung ist in einer großartigen Lage! Vom Garten aus gehen Sie direkt auf das Meer, während Sie von der Haustür aus in der zentralen Fußgängerzone mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants die Abende verbringen können. Vor dem Gebäude befindet sich ein praktischer Supermarkt für jeden Tag. In der Wohnung gibt es alle Annehmlichkeiten, um den Urlaub zu verbringen. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und immer verfügbar!!! Menton ist eine schöne Stadt, um die Ferien zu verbringen ,besonders mit Kindern!!

Nous avons bien aimé l'appartement! Il était trés confortable et la position était près du centre ville et de la mer. Monsieur Bottero était vraiment gentil et toujours disponibile avec des conseils qui nous ont permis de découvrir des lieux merveiileux autour de Menton. J'ai beacoup apprecié sa gentilesse et sa disponibilité!!

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento ad Agosto e mi sono trovata molto bene. L'appartamento è in una posizione ottima! Dal giardino nel retro si esce direttamente sul mare mentre dal portone si è nella via centrale pedonale ricca di negozi e ristoranti per passare le serate. Di fronte al palazzo è presente un supermarket comodo per tutti i giorni. Nel periodo estivo in casa fa molto caldo ma sono presenti due ventilatori che aiutano. Per parcheggiare è possibile sostare nel parcheggio sotterraneo dell'hotel ville a 100 mt dall'appartamento. Si possono fare abbonamenti da più giorni. In casa erano presenti tutti i confort necessari per passare la vacanza. I proprietari sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili. Menton è una bellissima cittadina dove passare le vacanze!!

Family vacation

This became a highly appreciated vacation, a lot thanks to the warm welcoming and the central location of the apartment. Situated exactly where the main street starts and just by the beach, this was the ideal place to stay. Close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets and even an art museum we had a wonderful time in the "Lemon Town" of Menton. The large windows and the high ceiling of the apartment made a nice impression on us and the view over the mountains in the morning sun was a great sight to wake up to. Just next door you could get your baguette and then just continue down the street for a day of shopping, culture and even more importantly - relaxation. It was so practical having the apartment where it is, would you happen to have done some shopping you just quickly went back, deposited your bags and went out again. Or just the possibility to go and change your shoes after hours of walking around in this magnificent town. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back soon again.

As we visit the Cote d'Azur every year for at least one week, we already have some experience renting appartments. And to make it short, this was the best appartment we ever had in this category. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the location is top-notch and we enjoyed staying in this beautiful old but very well kept building of the former hotel La Regina. The building has two entrances, one on the city side to go to the supermarket which is very close, the pedestrian zone, bus or train station etc. and one exiting to the beach promenade. Next time we will take care not to forget our towels as in spite of the list of the equipment which was provided by the owners in advance, we overlooked that no towels are provided so that we had to go and buy some. The same applies to coffee cups as the French "bol" is not everyones cup of tea... Overall we can highly recommend this appartment and we thank Daniel and Amy once again for their hospitality from the first to the last minute. Horst and Claudia/Graz/Austria

The best vacation

We spent 3 weeks in "Le Regina" and every single day was a pleasure. The building is really beautiful and the location is perfect - the sea on one side and pedestrian street on the other. The appartment is very comfortable, our daughter aged 4 appreciated "her room" in mezzanine. The attitude of the owner to his guests is amazing! Daniel provided us with all required information: where to go out, what to do, list of free parking space in Menton, list of the best restaurants, etc. His advices and attention helped a lot. I'd love to come again!

L'avantage de cet appartement est d'etre au centre ville de Menton. Nous étions présent ( commel'an passé pour le 31 décembre ) et nous n'avons pas eut de nuisance sonores. Pour nous le stationnement dans cet hypercentre est solutionné par le parking St Roch qui est payant mais l'abonnement pour une semaine facilite la vie. La location est correcte, les propropriétaires sympatiques et il y a une entrée centre ville et une entrée coté mer. Pour la restauration pas de probléme, pour l'approvisionnement , traiteurs, supérettes sont au pied de l'appartement.

L' emplacement de cet appart est génial : la porte arrière du complexe donne directement sur le bord de mer et la porte de devant est une entrée facile sur un piétonnier agréable : tout est tout près ! les fauteuils , le lit sont très confortable. L' appart dispose de l' équipement utile . Relevons juste parfois un petit manque de finition dans la décoration .

Bonne situation coté mer et coté ville . Proximité des deux . bien qu'en plein centre ville la pollution sonore est inexitante pour cette semaine du jour l'an. Propre et bien entretenu , avons aprécié de ne pas transporter les draps. Propriètaire sympa. Parking payant et gratuit à proximité . nOUS 2TIONS AVEC NOTRE petite fille nous avons apprécié la patinoire.
